This is an overview of the progression of the Olympic track cycling record of the women's flying 200 m time trial as recognised by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI). [1]

The women's flying 200 m time trial is the qualification for the women's sprint. This discipline was introduced at the 1988 Summer Olympics.

The women's sprint event at the 2020 Summer Olympics took place from 6 to 8 August 2021 at the Izu Velodrome. 30 cyclists from 18 nations competed. Canadian rider Kelsey Mitchell won gold, with Olena Starikova from Ukraine and Lee Wai-sze from Hong-Kong completing the medal positions.

The women's team sprint event at the 2020 Summer Olympics took place on 2 August 2021 at the Izu Velodrome. 16 cyclists from 8 nations competed.

The men's madison event at the 2020 Summer Olympics took place on 7 August 2021 at the Izu Velodrome. 32 cyclists from 16 nations competed.
