Omarr Norman-Lott (born March 11, 2002) is an American football defensive tackle for the Tennessee Volunteers. He previously played for the Arizona State Sun Devils.

Early life and high school

Norman-Lott grew up in North Highlands, California and attended Grant Union High School in Sacramento, California. Coming out of high school, Norman-Lott was rated as a three star recruit, where he also held offers from schools such as Arizona, Arizona State, Boise State, Colorado, Oregon State, Texas A&M and USC. [1] Ultimately, Norman-Lott decided to commit to play college football for the Arizona State Sun Devils. [2] [3]

College career

Arizona State

In Norman-Lott's first career season in 2020, he finished the year with just one tackle. [4] During the 2021 season, Norman-Lott recorded 30 tackles with three and a half being for a loss, and two sacks. [5] [6] Norman-Lott finished the 2022 season tallying 14 tackles with three being for a loss, two sacks, and two pass deflections. [7] After the conclusion of the 2022 season, Norman-Lott decided to enter his name into the NCAA transfer portal. [8] [9]

Tennessee

Norman-Lott decided to transfer to play for the Tennessee Volunteers. [10] [11] In week four of the 2023 season, Norman-Lott was suspended for the first half of their matchup against UTSA, but once he returned he notched his first sack as a Volunteer. [12] [13] Norman-Lott finished his first season with Tennessee in 2023, totaling 26 tackles with six being for a loss, five and a half sacks, and a fumble recovery. [14]
