Omega (formerly Sharonville) is an unincorporated community in eastern Jackson Township, Pike County, Ohio, United States. A post office called Omega opened in 1837 and closed in 1935. [1]
A nearby bridge carrying Ohio State Route 335 over the Scioto River was called the Omega Bridge. [2] The Omega Cemetery is located just outside the community to the west. [3]

Joseph Briggs was an active figure in the early years of the township and county operations. The Briggsdale Methodist church was founded with his help, and it now exists as the New Horizons Methodist Church. The present-day Briggsdale neighborhood is located near the historical Green Lawn Cemetery to the north as well as Briggs High School to the west.
