Omega Diatribe is a Hungarian groove metal band from Budapest.
Omega Diatribe was formed in 2008 by Gergõ Hájer (guitar) and Ákos Szathmáry (bass). They started to play live in 2012 with a five-piece lineup. The band grew in popularity with their intense life shows and powerful sound.
In 2013, Omega Diatribe released their full-length debut album entitled IAPETUS. IAPETUS contains ten songs. The band recorded the CD at their own studio at 515 Studio. The album was nominated the 'Best Album of the Year' and 'Best Studio Production' in Hungary,[ according to whom? ] and landed in second place.
In 2014, the band split ways with Dávid Metzger (drummer) and started to work with American drummer Kevin Talley on new material. Omega Diatribe released their new EP called Abstract Ritual on 26 February 2015.
In the summer of 2015, they signed to the US-based record label Independent Ear Records. Thanks to this, Omega Diatribe's record Abstract Ritual was released in the US on 11 September 2015, including a remixed bonus track by Hungarian electro artist dOTS.
The band released a new single in the beginning of 2016 called "Contrist". The release also contains an exclusive cover of Slipknot's anthem.[ clarification needed ] By 2016, the band was mostly playing abroad and at festivals such as Euroblast with hopes of playing for their fans at even more locations.
Omega Diatribe released their third studio record called Trinity in 2018, which was co-produced, mixed and mastered by Danish producer Tue Madsen at Antfarm Studios. Trinity was released under the Ukrainian record label Metal Scrap Records. After an intense tour season, the band has won the 'Best Live Band' and 'Best Album of the Year' awards at Hungarian Metal Awards in 2018.
In 2020, they released their fourth studio record Metanoia under the wings of Metal Scrap Records, which was mastered by Swedish producer Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios.

Ektomorf is a Hungarian groove metal band.
Omega was a Hungarian rock band formed in 1962, which has been described as the most successful Hungarian band in history. They released more than 20 albums both in Hungarian and English. After several early personnel changes, their classic lineup came together in 1971 and was intact for more than forty years. Singer János Kóbor was with the band continuously from 1962 until his death in 2021; keyboardist/singer László Benkő was present from 1962 until his death in 2020. Guitarist György Molnár and bassist Tamás Mihály joined in 1967, and drummer Ferenc Debreczeni joined in 1971. Omega won several prestigious awards for their contributions to Hungarian culture.
Kevin Talley is an American heavy metal drummer for Sylencer and Feared. He was part of Dying Fetus, Misery Index, Six Feet Under, Nothnegal, Chimaira, Suffocation and Dååth, and toured with Battlecross in 2013.
Hungarian rock has been a part of the popular music of Hungary since the early 1960s. The first major bands were Illés, Metró and Omega. At the time, rock was not approved of by the Hungarian Communist authorities. In the 1970s, the Communists cracked down on rock, and Illés was banned from recording. Some members of the other bands formed a supergroup called Locomotiv GT, while the band Omega became very popular in Germany.
Master's Hammer is a Czech black metal band formed in Prague in 1983. They were active, with several lineup changes, until 1995, and again from 2009 onward. As of 2024, they have released eight studio albums, five demos, one EP, two split albums, one live album, and several compilations.
Megatropolis is Iron Savior's sixth full-length album, released on June 4, 2007. It was recorded, mixed and engineered at Powerhouse Studios in Hamburg in February 2007 with the drums being recorded at HammerMusic in January 2007. The album was re-released in 2015 as Megatropolis 2.0 with partly re-recorded vocal tracks, new mixed sound and a different track listing, as the band was dissatisfied with the original product. It is the last album to feature Yenz Leonhardt on bass, who would then join Stormwarrior shortly that year.
The Moog were a Hungarian indie rock band based in Budapest, Hungary formed in 2004. The group is noted for being the first in the region to be signed to an American record label. The band consists of members Tamás Szabó, Gergő Dorozsmai, Ádám Bajor (guitar), Gergő György (guitar) and Csaba Szabó. The Moog have been compared to bands The Strokes and The Hives and dubbed "Hungary's hottest new export".
The Idoru is a post-hardcore band from Budapest, Hungary. It was formed in 2003 by ex-members of the Hungarian hard-core and metalcore band Newborn. The original line-up consisted of Tibor Szalkai (guitars), Gábor Nagy (guitars), Mátyás Mohácsi (bass), Denis Valach (drums) and András Bödecs (vocals). However, three of the original members left the band in 2009.

Beast In Black is an International heavy power metal band, which was formed in Helsinki in 2015 by guitarist and songwriter Anton Kabanen. Lucifer is a heavy metal band formed in Berlin in 2014 by frontwoman Johanna Sadonis. Following several member changes, vocalist Sadonis remains the only constant member, with the current line-up featuring drummer Nicke Andersson, guitarists Martin Nordin and Linus Björklund, and bassist Harald Göthblad. Currently based out of Stockholm, the members are Swedish with the exception of the German Sadonis.

Irigy Hónaljmirigy are a Hungarian comedy/parody band, known around Hungary for their parodies of popular songs from both the country and abroad, as well as celebrities and TV shows. They had their own TV show, Irigy Hónaljmirigy Show, which ran on TV2 from 2000 until 2010. On their demos and their first album, they mostly parodied Hungarian rock songs, from their second album and onwards they started parodying the popular music scene in general. Since 2004, the band's albums are released by Hungarian major record label CLS Music.
