Gregory Howe is an American guitarist and composer. An active musician for more than three decades, he has released nine studio albums in addition to collaborating with a wide variety of artists.
John Clayton Mayer is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist and record producer. Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, Mayer attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, but disenrolled and moved to Atlanta in 1997 with Clay Cook. Together, they formed a short-lived two-man band called Lo-Fi Masters. After their split, Mayer continued to play local clubs, refining his skills and gaining a following. After his appearance at the 2001 South by Southwest Festival, he was signed to Aware Records, and then Columbia Records, which released his first EP, Inside Wants Out. His following two full-length albums—Room for Squares (2001) and Heavier Things (2003)—did well commercially, achieving multi-platinum status. In 2003, he won the Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for the single "Your Body Is a Wonderland".

The album has been described as “an innovative landmark in the world of indie rock.” With an experimental nature mixing a range of influences from writer Ayn Rand to The Flaming Lips, Euphonicmontage was recorded to reflect the same Cubist style of Picasso’s paintings in musical form. The highly artistic endeavor demonstrated that Echo Orbiter "are serious about their art and it shows on their latest release, Euphonicmontage."

The album has been described as “a collection of superb three-minute pop bursts,” combining "uber-catchy British Invasion style, four-on-the-floor garage burners with heavy new wave influenced synth lines."
Laughing All the While is the second studio album by Echo Orbiter. It was released on Looking Glass Workshop in 2000. Receiving positive reviews, the album has been described as chaotic and orchestral brand of pop reflecting the band's growing creative confidence, and "a wondrous, melody-packed celebration of unfettered creativity." The band has described the process and product as L'art pour l'art in the style of Aestheticism and the Decadent Movement. Following a litany of production and logistical difficulties with creating and releasing the album, along with its lyrical themes, the album was viewed as a reflection of the ills of insanity.
A Moment in Life That's Right is the first studio album by Echo Orbiter. It was released on Looking Glass Workshop in 1998. "Combining Revolver-era Beatles studio trickery with Syd Barrett-styled songwriting," A Moment in Life That's Right was described as an album of crafty and catchy harmonies, "a new twist to new pop, and a lovely racket indeed." The band has described the album as "designedly autotelic".
Qu’est-ce Pour Nous is the fifth studio album by Echo Orbiter. It was released on Looking Glass Workshop in 2003. A return to a more Indie rock driven sound, the album also features lyrical themes highly influenced by Existential writers such as Albert Camus and Nietzsche and poets ranging from Charles Baudelaire to beat poets such as Jack Kerouac. The title of the album, Qu’est-ce Pour Nous, is taken from a line in an Arthur Rimbaud poem roughly translating to, "What does it matter?"
Left Here Alone; Smiling is the fourth studio album by Echo Orbiter. It was released on Looking Glass Workshop in 2002. The album was produced using a unique writing and recording style the band called "Audio Impressionism," where individual notes in a progression or arpeggiated notes were individually recorded one by one on different tracks with different sounds and instruments and then meticulously pieced together to form the progression or arpeggiated line. Each sound is sustained, with a long reverb, overlapping one another in the same manner that Impressionist painters like Monet would blur multiple individual strokes of paint together to form a recognizable object or image.
Io Echo is an American indie rock band formed in Los Angeles by Ioanna Gika and Leopold Ross. Their debut album, Ministry of Love, was released in 2013 on Iamsound in the US. Previously, the band released "While You Were Sleeping" single in 2010 and a self-titled EP in 2012 on the same label. Io Echo's style combines rock music compositions with instruments such as a Japanese koto harp and Chinese violins. Io Echo were hand-picked by Trent Reznor to open for Nine Inch Nails at the last show of their Wave Goodbye Tour. Io Echo have also recently composed the score to the Harmony Korine and James Franco film project Rebel. In 2013, the band played Coachella, Lollapalooza, and toured with Bloc Party and Garbage. As well as recording and touring, after seeing them perform live Jeffrey Deitch asked the band to curate an audio visual festival at the Museum of Modern Art Los Angeles. Io Echo named it PLAY MOCA and played alongside Salem, Cults, Zola Jesus, Active Child, and more.
