Face to Face is the fourth studio album by the English rock band the Kinks, released in October 1966. The album marked a shift from the hard-driving style of beat music that had catapulted the group to international acclaim in 1964. It is their first album consisting entirely of Ray Davies compositions, and has also been regarded by critics as rock's first concept album. The album was included in Robert Christgau's "Basic Record Library" of 1950s and 1960s recordings, published in Christgau's Record Guide: Rock Albums of the Seventies (1981).
Sniff 'n' the Tears is a British rock band best known for their 1979 song "Driver's Seat", a hit in many countries. The exception was the UK itself where a problem with EMI's pressing plant meant that the single was not available following the band's appearance on Top of the Pops and it peaked just outside the Top 40. Sniff 'n' The Tears is led by singer/songwriter Paul Roberts, the band's sole constant member. Roberts, a noted painter, is also responsible for painting all of the band's album covers.
The Kinks Are the Village Green Preservation Society is the sixth studio album by the English rock group the Kinks, released in November 1968. It was the last album by the original quartet, as bassist Quaife left the group in early 1969. A collection of vignettes of English life, Village Green was assembled from songs written and recorded over the previous two years.
Kinda Kinks is the second album by English rock band the Kinks, released in 1965. Recorded and released within two weeks after returning from a tour in Asia, Ray Davies and the band were not satisfied with the production. The single "Tired of Waiting for You" was a #1 hit on the UK Singles Charts.
Paris 1919 is the third solo studio album by Welsh musician John Cale. It was released on 25 February 1973 by Reprise Records. Musicians such as Lowell George and Wilton Felder worked with Cale on the release. Its title is a reference to the 1919 Paris Peace Conference, and song contents explore various aspects of early 20th century Western Europe culture and history.
"As Tears Go By" is a song written by Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Rolling Stones' manager Andrew Loog Oldham. Marianne Faithfull recorded it, which was released as a single in the United Kingdom in 1964. Her song peaked at number nine on both the UK and Irish singles charts. Later, the Rolling Stones recorded their own version, which was included on the American album December's Children . London Records released it as a single, which reached number six in the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.
"Hey, Good Lookin'" is a 1951 song written and recorded by Hank Williams, and his version was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2001. Since its original 1951 recording it has been covered by a variety of artists.
Bare Bones is an all-acoustic studio album from rock band Wishbone Ash. It features re-arranged versions of old classics and a number of new original and cover songs. Several special guests also appear on the album, including former vocalist Claire Hamill. In support of the album, the band would integrate an all-acoustic set within their concert repertoire throughout 1999 and 2000.
Beccy Cole, also known as Beccy Sturtzel, Rebecca Diane Albeck and Bec O'Donovan, is an Australian country music singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. She has released ten studio albums, with six reaching the ARIA Albums Chart top 40, Little Victories, Preloved, Songs & Pictures, Great Women of Country, Sweet Rebecca and The Great Country Songbook Volume 2. The Unfairground is a 2007 album by Kevin Ayers, recorded with members of Ladybug Transistor, Teenage Fanclub, Neutral Milk Hotel, Gorky's Zygotic Mynci and Roxy Music. It was his sixteenth studio LP and his first new set of recordings in fifteen years, as well as the last album released before his death in 2013. It was recorded in New York City, Tucson, Arizona, London and Glasgow. It debuted at #14 in the UK Indie Album chart.
Keep It Simple is the thirty-third solo studio album recorded by Northern Irish singer/songwriter Van Morrison. It was released on 17 March 2008 by Exile Productions Ltd./Polydor in the UK and on the Lost Highway Records label on 1 April 2008, in the US. His previous studio album Pay the Devil was also released on the Lost Highway label, in March 2006. The album debuted at No. 10 on the US, UK and Canada charts and No. 7 on European Top 100 Albums. This album achieved Morrison's highest ranking in US charts at that point. Eight years later, in 2016, Keep Me Singing rose to No. 9 in the US charts.
Mountain Soul II is the sixteenth studio album by American country music singer Patty Loveless. The album was released on September 29, 2009. It is a follow-up to her previous album, Mountain Soul, released in 2001. Four of the album's 15 songs, "Half Over You"; "Blue Memories"; "Feelings of Love"; and "A Handful of Dust", were previously recorded by Loveless on earlier albums. "Big Chance" was also previously included in the same form on 2005's Dreamin' My Dreams.
Everlasting is an album by American singer Natalie Cole, released on June 14, 1987. The album is considered Cole's commercial comeback and features production by duo The Calloways who contributed to the track "Jump Start", a cover of Bruce Springsteen's "Pink Cadillac", which reached the US Billboard Hot 100 Top 10, and the hit "I Live for Your Love".

Country Girl, the third album by English singer-songwriter Rebecca Hollweg, was released on 9 February 2015 on Emu Records. The title track samples a recording of the "Mind the Gap" announcement by Oswald Laurence which is used at Embankment Underground station to warn passengers about the gap between the train and the platform.
June Babies, the first album by English singer-songwriter Rebecca Hollweg, was released on 9 October 2001 on Emu Records. Consisting of melodic pop songs, it featured string arrangements by Chris Bowden and a guest appearance by Jeb Loy Nichols. It was critically acclaimed in the British national and music press and was played on Jeremy Vine's BBC Radio 2 show. The title track was used in a BBC television programme about women runners.
The Demos, a demo album by English singer-songwriter Rebecca Hollweg, was initially privately released as a limited edition in 1999 and was later made available via the CD Baby website. It consists of earlier versions, recorded in 1999, of songs that were released on her albums June Babies and Orange Roses. The original version of "Where Are You Going?" from June Babies features the whole band. On "Mushroom Song" Rebecca Hollweg is accompanied on guitar; the Orange Roses version has a piano accompaniment instead.
The Andy Paley sessions are an unfinished recording project by American songwriter-musicians Brian Wilson and Andy Paley. Begun in the early 1990s, the intent was to record a studio album comprising original material written and produced by the duo with participation from Wilson's group the Beach Boys. It was the last time Brian would work with the band before the death of his brother and bandmate Carl Wilson in 1998. Paley previously worked with Brian as a co-producer and co-writer for the albums Brian Wilson (1988) and Sweet Insanity (unreleased).
Whitney Rose is a Canadian-American country musician from Prince Edward Island, Canada. She has released four studio albums through Cameron House Records and Six Shooter Records. Her self-titled debut album Whitney Rose was released in 2012 and Heartbreaker of the Year in 2015. The EP South Texas Suite was released in 2017. Rule 62 was released in October 2017.
