Oris Fergus (date of birth unknown) is a former West Indian cricketer. Fergus' batting and bowling styles are unknown. He was born on Montserrat.

Fergus first played for Montserrat against St Kitts in the 1971 Hesketh Bell Shield. His last recorded match for the team came against Nevis in the 1977 Heineken Challenge Trophy. [1] He later made two first-class appearances for Leeward Islands in 1978, with both matches coming against the Windward Islands. [2] In his two matches, he scored 25 runs at an average of 12.50, with a high score of 17 not out. [3] With the ball, he took 3 wickets at a bowling average of 20.33, with best figures of 2/20. [4]

An opening batsman for much of his career, and occasional bowler in his final seasons, Harris played in West Indian first class cricket, as well as facing the MCC team, England and Australia during his career. He played 27 matches, scoring nearly 1,400 runs at 29.04, including a century, and taking 15 wickets at 19.46. He then went on to play lower-level cricket for St. Kitts until 1976, and helped create the first cricket academy in the Leeward Islands.

Montserrat cricket team

The Montserrat cricket team has represented the British Overseas Territory of Montserrat in cricket. The team is not a member of the International Cricket Council, but the Montserrat Cricket Association is a member of the Leeward Islands Cricket Association, which itself is a member association of the West Indies Cricket Board, and players from Montserrat generally represent the Leeward Islands cricket team at domestic level and the West Indies at international level. Montserrat has however played as a separate entity in matches which held Twenty20 status, but has not appeared in first-class or List A cricket. The teams current coach is Abdiel Hughes, who was appointed in April 2012. The current captain is McPherson Meade.
