Orlando Christian Prep was founded in 1960, and is currently a ministry of Orlando Baptist Church. The school is separated into four academic divisions including Pre-K (K2-K4), Elementary (K5-5th), Middle School (6th-8th), and High School (9th-12th).

Addition Financial Arena is a sports and entertainment arena located near Orlando in Orange County, Florida, United States, on the main campus of the University of Central Florida. It was constructed beginning in 2006 as a replacement for the original UCF arena, and as a part of Knights Plaza. The arena is home to the UCF Knights men's and women's basketball teams. The arena also hosted the annual Science Olympiad in 2012 and 2014.

Kirk Crittendon Speraw is an American former basketball coach who was most recently an assistant basketball coach at the University of Iowa. Speraw previously served as the head coach for the men's basketball team at University of Central Florida (UCF) from 1993 to 2010, during which UCF made four appearances in the NCAA tournament.
The UCF Knights are the athletic teams that represent the University of Central Florida in unincorporated Orange County, Florida near Orlando. The Knights participate in the National Collegiate Athletic Association's (NCAA) Division I as a member of the Big 12 Conference. Since men's soccer is not sponsored by the Big 12, they play in the Sun Belt Conference.
The War on I-4 is a college rivalry between the University of Central Florida Knights and University of South Florida Bulls. The rivalry is best known for its college football matchup which originated in a series of football games played from 2005 to 2008 and now takes place on Thanksgiving weekend, the de facto "rivalry weekend" for FBS football. From 2013 to 2023, when both schools were part of the American Athletic Conference, the schools began competing annually in all sports both schools sponsored. In 2016, the schools officially adopted the "War on I-4" as an official competition series. Each year, the team with the most wins across all sports receives a gold trophy styled after an Interstate 4 (I-4) road sign with the logos of each school. The winner of the annual football game also receives a similar trophy.

Brooks "Bubba" Jennings is an American college basketball coach at Arlington Baptist University. He is best known for his collegiate playing career when he suited up for Texas Tech University between 1980 and 1985. During his time as a Red Raider, Jennings recorded 1,727 points, 378 assists and 149 steals. As a senior in 1984–85 he was honored with the Frances Pomeroy Naismith Award, a national award given to the best college men's basketball player who is 6'0" or shorter. At the end of the 2012–13 season, after having served as an assistant coach at his alma mater, Jennings was fired as part of a wholesale change in direction of the men's basketball department at Texas Tech.

Nassir Shamai Little is an American professional basketball player for the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the NBA G League. Little finished his high school career as one of the top-ranked players in his class, having led Orlando Christian Prep to consecutive Florida state championships. The small forward played college basketball for the North Carolina Tar Heels and was selected in the first round of the 2019 NBA draft by the Portland Trail Blazers.

The Knights were members of the American Athletic Conference. The Knights, in the program's 52nd season of basketball, are led by fifth-year head coach Johnny Dawkins and played their home games at the Addition Financial Arena on the university's main campus in Orlando, Florida. They finished the season 11–12, 8–10 in AAC Play to finish in 6th place. They defeated East Carolina in the first round of the AAC tournament before losing in the quarterfinals to Memphis.

James Paul "Bo" Clark is an American former college basketball coach and author. He was the head men's basketball coach at Flagler College in for 31 years and led his teams to 491 wins. In his tenure, the Saints qualified for three National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) national basketball tournaments. The court at Flagler is named in his honor. The "Clark Family Court" was dedicated on February 18, 2017. Clark is also the career points leader for the University of Central Florida.
Taylor Thomas Hendricks is an American professional basketball player for the Utah Jazz of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the UCF Knights. As a freshman, he was a Second-team All-AAC and AAC All-Freshman Team selection. He was a three-time Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSSA) champion.
