Craig Mazin is an American screenwriter, producer, and director. Coquihalla Canyon Provincial Park, popularly called the Othello Tunnels is a provincial park located near Hope, British Columbia focused on the canyon of the Coquihalla River and a decommissioned railway grade, now a walking trail, leading eventually to Coquihalla Pass. Originally part of the Kettle Valley Railway, five tunnels and a series of bridges follow a relatively straight line through the gorge, which is lined with sheer, flat rock cliffs.
Othello is a 1995 drama film based on William Shakespeare's tragedy of the same name. It was directed by Oliver Parker and stars Laurence Fishburne as Othello, Irène Jacob as Desdemona, and Kenneth Branagh as Iago. This is the first cinematic reproduction of the play released by a major studio that casts an African American actor to play the role of Othello, although low-budget independent films of the play starring Ted Lange and Yaphet Kotto predated it.

Ellison High School is a 5A public high school in the city of Killeen, Bell County, Texas for grades 9-12. It is one of five high schools in the Killeen Independent School District. Ellison High School opened in 1978 and the first graduation class was held in 1979. The Ellison High School football program received a donation of $25,000 from the American television channel NBC and automobile maker Toyota, for their participation in the Friday Night Lights Hometown Sweepstakes contest. The former University of Kentucky head basketball coach, Billy Gillispie, was the head coach at Ellison in the early 1990s, leading the school to the 5A state basketball tournament in 1993. For the 2021-2022 school year, the school was given a "B" by the Texas Education Agency.

Othellos Athienou is a Cypriot football club based in Athienou, Larnaca and competes in the Cypriot first Division. The football department is the only activity of the club at the moment, which participated for the second time in the Cypriot First Division, the top football level division in Cyprus after 8 years from the first season in top flight. The club colours are green and white.

Hugh Othello Wolfe was an American football fullback who played one season with the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the third round of the 1938 NFL Draft. Wolfe first enrolled at John Tarleton Agricultural College before transferring to the University of Texas. He attended Stephenville High School in Stephenville, Texas. He was a member of the New York Giants team that won the 1938 NFL Championship. Nicknames attributed to him include "Big Bad" and "Red", although he may have never been called "Red".
