Oties Epps

Oties Epps (born October 26, 1978) [1] was the head coach of the women's basketball program at the University of Evansville. [2] He was previously an assistant coach with the Wisconsin Badgers women's basketball team.

Biography

A native of Highland Park, Michigan, Epps is married with three children. [3] He attended Mount Senario College and the University of Wisconsin–Stout. [4]

Career

Epps' first coaching experience was as an assistant coach on the men's basketball team at the University of Wisconsin–Stout from 2001 to 2004. From there he became an assistant coach with the Cleveland State Vikings women's basketball team. He joined the Badgers in 2008.

Bo Ryan American basketball coach

William Francis "Bo" Ryan Jr. is an American former college basketball coach and player. He was the head coach of the University of Wisconsin–Madison Badgers men's basketball team from 2001 to December 2015. Ryan served as the head men's basketball coach at the University of Wisconsin–Platteville from 1984 to 1999 and at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee from 1999 to 2001. His overall collegiate coaching record was 747–233. Ryan was inducted into the College Basketball Hall of Fame in 2017.

Wisconsin Badgers womens basketball

The Wisconsin Badgers women’s basketball team is an NCAA Division I college basketball team competing in the Big Ten Conference. Home games are played at the Kohl Center, located on the University of Wisconsin–Madison campus in Madison, Wisconsin. Previous to the Kohl Center, the home games were played at the Wisconsin Field House.

2015–16 Wisconsin Badgers mens basketball team American college basketball season

The 2015–16 Wisconsin Badgers men's basketball team represented the University of Wisconsin–Madison in the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. This was Bo Ryan's 15th season as head coach at Wisconsin, before he resigned 12 games into the season. On December 15, 2015, Ryan announced he would retire effective immediately leaving associate head coach Greg Gard as interim head coach. The team played their home games at the Kohl Center and were members of the Big Ten Conference. They finished the season 22–13, 12–6 in Big Ten play to finish in a four-way tie for third place in conference. Shortly after the regular season, Greg Gard had the interim tag removed as he was announced as the permanent head coach. The Badgers were upset by Nebraska in the second round of the Big Ten Tournament. They received an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament, their 18th straight appearance in the Tournament. They defeated Pittsburgh and Xavier to advance to the Sweet Sixteen for the third consecutive year. In the Sweet Sixteen, they lost to Notre Dame.

2015–16 Evansville Purple Aces womens basketball team Intercollegiate basketball season

The 2015–16 Evansville Purple Aces women's basketball team represents the University of Evansville during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Purple Aces, led by fifth year head coach Oties Epps, play their home games at the Ford Center and are members of the Missouri Valley Conference. They finished the season 3–28, 1–17 in MVC play to finish in last place. They advanced to the quarterfinals of the Missouri Valley Women's Tournament where they lost to Drake.

2015–16 NCAA Division I womens basketball season

The 2015–16 NCAA Division I women's basketball season began in November and ended with the Final Four in Indianapolis, April 3–5. Practices officially began on October 3.

Greg Gard American basketball coach

Gregory Glen Gard is an American college basketball coach for the Wisconsin Badgers. Gard took over on December 15, 2015, after Bo Ryan announced his retirement as head coach of the Badgers. Gard is a native of Cobb Wisconsin.

2016–17 Evansville Purple Aces womens basketball team Intercollegiate basketball season

The 2016–17 Evansville Purple Aces women's basketball team represented the University of Evansville during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Purple Aces, led by interim head coach Matt Ruffing, played their home games at the Ford Center and are members of the Missouri Valley Conference. They finished the season 14–17, 8–10 in MVC play to finish in sixth place. They advanced to the semifinals of the Missouri Valley Women's Tournament where they lost to Northern Iowa.

2021–22 Wisconsin Badgers womens basketball team Intercollegiate basketball season

The 2021–22 Wisconsin Badgers women's basketball team represented the University of Wisconsin at Madison during the 2021–22 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Badgers are led by first-year head coach Marisa Moseley and play their home games at the Kohl Center as members of the Big Ten Conference. They will compete in the 2021–22 Big Ten Conference season and the 2022 Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament.
