Production

In May 2024, it was announced that Albert Serra would be writing and directing his English-language feature film debut, with Kristen Stewart in the lead role. [1] Stewart exited the project in March 2025, due to being unsatisfied with script changes. [2]

Principal photography began in May 2025, in Latvia, with Riley Keough, F. Murray Abraham, Liza Yankovskaia, and Birte von Knoblauch joining the cast. [3] Filming wrapped on September 17, 2025. [4]

Release

Out of This World is scheduled to be released in the United States in 2026. [5]
