Outrage A.D., originally known as Outrage, is a Canadian Christian thrash and death metal band that originated in Ottawa, Ontario. The band began in 1992 as Outrage and eventually disbanded in 1995. In 2013, the band reunited and changed their name to Outrage A.D.

History

Outrage began in 1992 with the line-up of drummer/vocalist Nick Richer, guitarist/vocalist Mart Marion, and bassist Art Robillard. The band immediately recorded a demo album, which was titled Hail God and was released independently. Following that, by 1994, the band released a second demo album, titled Waiting for the Son, which featured seven tracks of material. In 1994, following the recording on their sophomore release, Robillard departed from the band, with his brother, Phil, stepping up to take over the bass for live performances. In 1995, the band disbanded. However, many years later, in 2013, the band reunited with a new moniker. Now going by Outrage A.D., Richer and Marion reprised their positions as drummer and guitarist respectively. Neither Robillard brother returned to the band, which led the position to be filled by Nicolas Miquelon on bass. With the new line-up, the band entered the studio at Apartment 2 Recording Studio and recorded their debut studio album, New Blood. [2] Following the release of the album, the band was featured on a compilation called Christian Brutal Death Metal, Volume 1. On October 16, 2017, it was announced that the band had signed with Nosral Recordings and were re-releasing the album through the label. [3] In early 2018, the band released the single "New Blood", alongside a lyric video. [4] [5] [6] On February 23, 2018, New Blood was re-released via Nosral Recordings. On March 6, 2019, the band released their debut music video, titled "Unreal Trip". [7]

Flotsam and Jetsam is an American thrash metal band that was formed in Phoenix, Arizona, in 1981. Before settling on its current name in 1984, the band had existed under three different names, Paradox, Dredlox and Dogz. Their current lineup includes vocalist Eric "A.K" Knutson, guitarists Michael Gilbert and Steve Conley, bassist Bill Bodily, and drummer Ken Mary. Flotsam and Jetsam went through several lineup changes over the years, leaving Knutson as the only constant member. Light Unseen is an American death metal and grindcore band founded in San Marcos, Texas, United States, by local genre veteran Christian "Shun" Marthiljohni of Diminished, Southern Front and the Monk. He hired his friend Adrian Trevino to take over drums. The band signed with Nosral Recordings in January 2018, has been compared to Tortured Conscience and Antidemon and is signed to Rottweiler Records.

The project began in 2017, starting off with an EP, titled ...Of Scars and Soil..., with all three tracks being re-recorded and released again on the album. The album was recorded at Commander86 Studios, by the band's brainchild, Logan Thompson and was produced by Luke Dinan of Children of Wrath.

<i>Maniacal Entropik Discordium</i> 2021 studio album by Symphony of Heaven

Maniacal Entropik Discordium is the second album by melodic death metal band Symphony of Heaven. The album was released in 2021, four years after the debut of The Season of Death on Nosral Recordings. The album is the debut of Eero Tertsunen on guitars, David "Timōrātus" Napier (Timōrātus) on bass, and Mason "Asaph" Beard on drums, which saw founder Logan "Pathos" Thompson switch from everything to solely guitars and vocals. The album was originally titled Entropy, however Thompson changed the title later on throughout the process.
