Ove Thorsheim (born 30 May 1949) is a Norwegian diplomat.
Thorsheim holds a cand.philol.
Thorsheim began for the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1979. He was the Norwegian ambassador to Australia from 2000 to 2005 and South Africa from 2005 to 2007. After a period serving as deputy under-secretary of state in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 2007 to 2011, Thorsheim was appointed as ambassador to Portugal in 2011. [1]

The Order of Sikatuna is the national order of diplomatic merit of the Republic of the Philippines. It is conferred upon individuals who have rendered exceptional and meritorious services to the Republic of the Philippines, upon diplomats, officials and nationals of foreign states who have rendered conspicuous services in fostering, developing and strengthening relations between their country and the Philippines, or upon personnel of the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), both in the Home Office and in the Foreign Service.
Jaime José de Matos da Gama, GCC, GCIH, GCL is a Portuguese former politician. He was Minister of Foreign Affairs of Portugal from 1983 to 1985 and again from 1995 to 2002, and he was President of the Assembly of the Republic from 2005 to 2011. Luís Filipe Marques Amado, GCC is a portuguese politician who served as Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2006 to 2011 in Portugal's XIII Government led by the Socialist Party. Before replacing Diogo Freitas do Amaral as Minister of Foreign Affairs, on 30 June 2006, Amado had served as Minister of Defence. On 30 June 2007, he succeeded to the EU Council Presidency on behalf of Portugal.

Niels Christian Ditleff was a Norwegian diplomat, noted for his humanitarian efforts on behalf of captives of the Germans during World War 2. In spite of opposition from his own and allied governments, he initiated and organized the White Buses campaign to rescue Scandinavian prisoners in German concentration camps. He was also instrumental in evacuating foreign diplomats from Warsaw during the German invasion and to rescue Jews in coordination with Nansenhjelpen.

She is the first female minister appointed to the post.
