Owen Ainley

Owen Ainley, real name Leslie Charles Loughland (1910 - d. 6 June 1998 [1] ) was an Australian actor best known for his work on radio and stage. He did the voice overs for Bex for more than 40 years, starting in 1941. [2] [3]

He later became an alderman and real estate agent under his real name. Loughland was conviced of taking a $1,000 bribe for helping a building development company. [4]
