P. A. Madhavan is an Indian National Congress politician from Thrissur and former Member of the Kerala Legislative Assembly from Manaloor Assembly Constituency (2011-2016). Son of P. Achuthan Nair and Malamelpattiath Parvathy Amma; born at Mundur, Thrissur on 14 September 1946; is a licensed Document Writer since 1967.

As an active socio-political worker from the young age of 13, leading student agitations part of Vimochana Samaram have held offices of Indian Youth Congress Block President (1968-1969),Indian Youth Congress District Secretary (1969-1972),Indian Youth Congress District General Secretary (1972-1977),Indian Youth Congress District President (1977-1980).

Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee Executive Member (present), All India Congress Committee Member 2005-2012, District Congress Committee President 2016-2017, District Congress Committee Vice-President (2006–2011), District Congress Committee General Secretary (1980-2006), United Democratic Front (Kerala) District Chairman (2006-2008); Thrissur District Panchayat Leader of Opposition (2000-2005).

P. C. Chacko Indian politician (born 1946)

P. C. Chacko is a former Member of Parliament from Thrissur Lok Sabha seat in Kerala. He is a former member of the Indian National Congress. Chacko resigned from Indian National Congress on 10 March 2021, stating that it had become difficult to be a congress leader in Kerala. P.C. Chacko is the first president of Thiruvananthapuram District committee of Kerala Students Union. He was the State president of Indian youth Congress from 1970 to 1973 and held the post of national General secretary of Indian youth Congress during 1973 - 1975. He became the general secretary of KPCC in 1975 and continued till 1979. He was elected to the Kerala Assembly in 1980 from Piravom constituency and during 1980- 81 he served as Minister for Industries in the state cabinet. He was Elected to Loksabha in 1991 from Thrissur, in 1996 from Mukundapuram, in 1998 from Idukki and in 2009 again from Thrissur. On 2021 March 16 he joined in Nationalist Congress Party, which is an ally of LDF in Kerala. He was appointed as President of the Kerala State Unit of Nationalist Congress Party by the National President Sri. Sharad Pawar on 19 May 2021

P. Viswambharan was an Indian politician, socialist, trade unionist and journalist.

P. P. George (1935–2008) was an Indian National Congress politician from Thrissur and Member of the Legislative Assembly from Chalakudy in 1965, 1967 and 1970, from Thiruvambady in 1987 and from Ollur in 1991 and 2001. He was the Agriculture Minister in 1991 Ministry.

P. Sankaran was an Indian lawyer, politician and senior Indian National Congress leader. He was the son of Kelu Nair, a freedom fighter, and Makkam Amma. He died on February 25, 2020.

Anathalavattom Anandan is an Indian politician, a trade unionist and a member of Communist Party of India (Marxist). He is the President of the Kerala State Committee and national Vice President of the Centre of Indian Trade Unions and the State Secretariat Member of the CPI(M) Kerala State Committee. Anandan is also the President of Kerala Coir Workers Centre. He was elected thrice to the Kerala Legislative Assembly from Attingal constituency, in 1987, 1996 and 2006. The Kerala State Government had appointed him as the Vice Chairman of Apex Body for Coir in August 2016.

Chittayam Gopakumar Indian politician
