Pathmadai Chander Prakash (born 19 September 1961) is an Indian former first-class cricketer who played for Tamil Nadu. He works as a coach after his playing career and is currently the Head Coach of Karaikudi Kaalai in the Tamil Nadu Premier League.
Prakash played as a right-handed middle-order batsman in 36 first-class matches,and represented Tamil Nadu,South Zone and India under-25s in a span of five seasons. He was the leading run-scorer for Tamil Nadu in his debut Ranji season in 1985/86,with 484 runs at an average of 69.14. [2] He was part of the Tamil Nadu team that won the 1987–88 Ranji Trophy and subsequently toured Australia for the MG Kailis-Kemplast Trophy in 1988/89 and 1989/90. He appeared in first-class matches against touring Pakistani and New Zealand teams during his career. [3] He also played for Board President's XI and Wills XI in List A matches. [4]
After retirement,Prakash coached cricketers in his home state. He worked as Tamil Nadu under-15 coach in 2008 and 2009, [1] before being appointed as the batting coach of Tamil Nadu senior team in 2010 for the Ranji Trophy. [5] He became the head coach of Tamil Nadu under-19s in 2011 and started working at the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) Academy as batting consultant in 2012. [1]
In 2014,Prakash took over as the secretary of Mambalam Mosquitos,a cricket team that plays in the TNCA first division league,after his father P. S. Chander retired from the position. Chander and his brother P. S. Shanker had founded the team in 1944. [6] [7]

Murali Vijay is a former Indian international cricketer. He who plays as a right-handed opening batter and an occasional right-arm off break bowler. He had represented the Indian cricket team and played for Tamil Nadu in domestic first-class cricket. Vijay was a member of the Indian team that won the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy. He has also played for Chennai Super Kings,Delhi Daredevils and Kings XI Punjab in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
P. K. Dharmalingam was an Indian cricketer. He played in 29 first class matches for Madras and Services between 1960 and 1970 with a batting average of 28.30 and a bowling average of 20.50.

Mothavarapu Suryanarayan was an Indian first-class cricketer who was born on 1 February 1930 during Madras presidency. M. Suryanarayan is the first son of M.Baliah Naidu and the Grandson of Buchi Babu Naidu who is also known as the 'Father of South Indian Cricket' the doyen of Madras Cricket. He was also a member of the First Ranji Trophy triumph team of Tamil Nadu in 1954–1955,which the Madras team won against Holkar. He was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium bowler. The Hindu describing his Cricket,once said:" His batting resembles very closely that of his father -dashing and carefree -and his cover-drive,a joy to watch,has amazing impetus..."And it added that he had "enriched Madras sport as his father had". His only younger brother M.M Kumar represented in the Ranji Trophy.
