Peter Joseph 'P. J.' Morrison (born 27 February 1998) is a Scottish footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Alloa Athletic. [2]

He was part of the Motherwell Scottish Youth Cup winning side in 2016 and experienced first-team football during loan spells with Clyde, Albion Rovers, Cowdenbeath and Falkirk, where he kept four clean sheets in eight appearances at the start of the 2020–21 season. [3]

He was called up to the Scotland Under-21 squad for two matches in 2020, but was an unused substitute in two matches. [4]

On 2 June 2022, he was signed to Falkirk for a season. [5]

The 2020–21 season was the 124th season of competitive football in Scotland. The domestic season began on 1 August 2020 with the first round of matches in the 2020–21 Scottish Premiership. The start of all other domestic competitions were delayed until at least October 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic, and most games were played behind closed doors due to Scottish Government restrictions.

The 2020–21 season was Motherwell's thirty-sixth consecutive season in the top flight of Scottish football, having been promoted from the Scottish First Division at the end of the 1984–85 season.

The 2020–21 season was Hibernian's (Hibs) fourth season of play back in the top league of Scottish football, having been promoted from the Scottish Championship at the end of the 2016–17 season. Hibs lost in the semi-finals of the League Cup to St Johnstone, and in the 2021 Scottish Cup Final to the same opponents. Hibs finished third in the Premiership, which was their highest league position since 2004–05.

The 2021–22 season was Dumbarton Football Club's fourth in Scottish League One, the third tier of Scottish football, having finished ninth in the division in 2020–21 and winning the playoffs. Dumbarton also competed in the Scottish League Cup, Scottish Challenge Cup and the Scottish Cup.
