Born in Varanasi, her siblings have also either played or are playing for India- her sisters Divya and Priyanka have represented Indian National Women's Basketball Team, while Prashanti Singh an Arjuna Award and Padma Shri winner is the current captain of the team and Akanksha is a member.
Panayamparambil Sreenivasan a.k.a. P. S. Nivas(27 May 1946– 1 February 2021) was an Indian cinematographer, film director and film producer who worked in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi cinema. He was a recipient of National Film Award for Best Cinematography for the 1976 Malayalam film Mohiniyaattam. He was a frequent collaborator with Bharathiraja and they worked together in 8 films.

He was the first Malayali to become the captain of the national volleyball team. In 2015, he received Dhyan Chand Award the highest sports award in the country. He is the only Indian volleyball player to have won two Asian Games medals.
Jazmin Pamela Shelley is an Australian college basketball player for the Nebraska Cornhuskers of the Big Ten Conference. A point guard, she began her college career at Oregon before transferring to Nebraska after her sophomore season. In her first year with the Cornhuskers, Shelley was a second-team All-Big Ten selection. She previously played for the Melbourne Boomers of the Women's National Basketball League, where she was named Rookie of the Year in 2019. Shelley plays for the Australian national team and is a three-time gold medalist at the junior level.

She has published 80 works in various genres, including novels, poetry, travelogues, biographies, memoirs, translations, letters, and children's literature. Many of her works have been translated to Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada languages. Kerala Sahitya Akademi has honoured Sudheera in 2022 for her overall contributions.
