PAF College Sargodha is a Pakistan Air Force operated boarding school located in Sargodha, Punjab, Pakistan. It was established in 1953. Founded as a feeding school for Pakistan Air Force Academy, it is now a public school since 1990 funded by the Pakistan Air Force. [1] [2]

Muhammed Abul ManzurBU was a Bangladeshi military officer who commanded the Bangladesh Forces operations in Sector 8 during the Bangladesh Liberation War against Pakistan in 1971. He was allegedly involved in the assassination of the then-president of Bangladesh, Ziaur Rahman. The erstwhile chief of army staff and alleged mastermind of Rahman's assassination, Hussain Muhammad Ershad, had put a standing shoot-to-kill order on Manzur's life—he was killed shortly after being captured at the border. About a year later, Ershad initiated a bloodless coup d'état and took over the central government, holding power until 1990.

Sitara-e-Jurat is the third highest military award of Pakistan. It was established in 1957 after Pakistan became a republic; however, it was instituted retrospectively back to 1947. It is awarded for gallantry or distinguished service in combat; and can be bestowed upon officers, junior commissioned officers, petty officers, warrant officers, soldiers, sailors, airmen, and equivalents in the Pakistan Army, Navy, Air Force, and various paramilitary forces under federal control, such as the Frontier Corps, the Frontier Constabulary, and the Pakistan Rangers. It may be considered to be roughly equivalent to the Military Cross and the Silver Star.

Pakistan Air Force college Lower Topa is an all-boys military boarding school situated at Lower Topa,Murree which is located near Patriata in the Murree region of the Murree District of Pakistan. Situated on a hilltop, the institution is made up of a series of buildings. These comprise the boarding lodgings, academic blocks, hobbies section, laboratories, administration, library, hospital, etc. The other buildings consist of a mosque, a general purpose hall, an auditorium and a messing block. The public school serves as a nursery for the future leadership of the Pakistan Air Force. A new academic block has just been completed in 2017. Admission is open for all Pakistani students.

Saiful Azam (Bengali: সাইফুল আজম; was a Bangladeshi fighter pilot, ace, and politician who first served as a fighter pilot for the Pakistan Air Force and later the Bangladesh Air Force. According to Pakistani sources, during his career as PAF pilot, he shot down one Indian Air Force and four Israel Air Force aircraft. For his actions, he received various gallantry awards from Pakistan, Jordan and Iraq. He also took part in 12 ground-attack missions against the Indian forces. After the liberation of Bangladesh, he joined the newly formed Bangladesh Air Force.

He took charge from Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt on 19 March 2015. He retired on 18 March 2018, on completion of the three-year term as Air Chief.

Air Vice Marshal (retd.) Fakhrul Azam, ndc, psc was the Chief of the Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force from 2002 to 2007. He studied in the prestigious Sargodha College of Pakistan Air Force. He was in the Tempest house (694-T). He left the institution in 1965 after completing his Senior Cambridge. He was commissioned in the Pakistan Air Force on 13 March 1971 from the 51st GD(P) Course. Fakhrul was appointed as the 'Chief of the Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force' on 8 April 2002 by then-Prime Minister Khaleda Zia.

Air commodore Raja Rizwan Ullah KhanMRAeSM-PECSbt known as Razi to his family and colleagues, was a one-star rank officer of the PAF, author, and aeronautical engineer who held the position of Personal Staff Officer to Chief of Air Staff Mushaf Ali Mir. In the TV series Shahpar, he played the role of the Officer Commanding No. 11 Squadron PAF, mirroring his real-life position at the time.
