Turów Zgorzelec

PGE Turów Zgorzelec was a Polish professional basketball team that was based in Zgorzelec. The club played in the Polish League (PLK). It won the Polish championship once, in the 2013–14 season.

Polska Liga Koszykówki (PLK) is a professional men's club basketball league in Poland. It constitutes the first and highest-tier level of the Polish league pyramid. The winning team of the final round are crowned the Polish Champions of that season. It began in 1947–48, with the name of I Liga, and was originally organized by the Polish Basketball Association. The league changed to its current form, beginning with the 1997–98 season, after the Polska Liga Koszykówki SA, PLK SA took control over the league. In 2000–01 season the league turned professional.

The PLK Most Valuable Player award is given annually at the end of the regular season of the Polish Basketball League (PLK), the highest professional basketball league in Poland, to the most valuable player of the league. Originally, the award was given by the now defunct Polish I Liga, and was called the Polish League 1 Player of the Year. The current award, given by the Polish PLK League, began when that league started, with the 1995–96 season.

The PLK Finals MVP award is handed out to the best player in the Polish Basketball League Finals, the final series of the highest Polish basketball league.

The Polish Basketball Cup is the annual top-tier level national domestic basketball cup competition for clubs in Poland. It is managed and organised by the Polish Basketball League (PLK). The competition was founded in 1933. Śląsk Wrocław has won the most titles, with 14 trophies.

The 2013–14 Polish Basketball League – for sponsorship reasons the Tauron Basket Liga – was the 80th season of the highest professional basketball league in Poland and the 18th since the foundation of the Polish Basketball League. PGE Turów Zgorzelec won the Polish national title for the first time in franchise history.

The PLK Best Coach award is an annual award in the Polish PLK that is given to the best coach. A select group of press members can vote for the winner of the award.

The PLK Best Defender is an annual award that is handed out in the Polish top basketball league, the PLK. The award is given to the best defensive player in a given PLK regular season. The first Best Defender Award was handed out in the 2005–06 season, to Tomas Masiulis.

The All-PLK Team is an annual honour for the five best players of a given Polish Basketball League (PLK) regular season. The team is voted by press reporters from around the country.

The 2017–18 Polish Basketball League (PLK) season, the Energa Basket Liga for sponsorship reasons, was the 84th season of the Polish Basketball League, the highest professional basketball league in the Poland. The season started on 30 September 2017 and ended 4 June 2018. Anwil Włocławek won its second ever title in club history.

The 2020–21 Polish Basketball League (PLK) season, the Energa Basket Liga for sponsorship reasons, was the 87th season of the Polish Basketball League, the highest professional basketball league in Poland. Stelmet Enea Zielona Góra were the defending champions.
