David Dedek is a Slovenian professional basketball coach. He is currently coaching Start Lublin of the PLK.

The PLK Most Valuable Player award is given annually at the end of the regular season of the Polish Basketball League (PLK), the highest professional basketball league in Poland, to the most valuable player of the league. Originally, the award was given by the now defunct Polish I Liga, and was called the Polish League 1 Player of the Year. The current award, given by the Polish PLK League, began when that league started, with the 1995–96 season.

The PLK Finals MVP award is handed out to the best player in the Polish Basketball League Finals, the final series of the highest Polish basketball league.

2013–14 PLK season

The 2013–14 Polish Basketball League – for sponsorship reasons the Tauron Basket Liga – was the 80th season of the highest professional basketball league in Poland and the 18th since the foundation of the Polish Basketball League. PGE Turów Zgorzelec won the Polish national title for the first time in franchise history.

The PLK Best Polish Player award is an annual award in the Polish PLK that is given to the best player with a Polish nationality. Players, coaches and press members vote for the winner of the award.

The PLK Rookie of the Year award is an annual award in the Polish PLK that is given to the best newcomer in the Polish Basketball League. Import players can not win the award. A select group press members votes for the winner of the award.

Joseph McNaull is an American former professional basketball player who also has Polish citizenship. Born in Miami, Florida, he is 6'10" and played at center. Represented Polish national basketball team for Eurobasket qualification. With Śląsk Wrocław he won 4 consecutive Polish league titles. With Norrköping Dolphins he won a Swedish league title in 2010.
