Persatuan Sepakbola Taman Setia Budi Indah (en: Association Football Setia Budi Indah Garden) or PS Tasbi is an Indonesian football club based in Medan, North Sumatra. Club currently played in Liga 3 North Sumatra.
The club was founded in 1992 as a forum for the development of football in the city of Medan in particular and Indonesia in general. In 2012 the club formed a team with the name Tasbi Futsal Futsal Club who competed in the Amateur Futsal League since 2012. The club also formed a special management for the development of young players by the name of Pro Star Management Tasbi. [1]

Haji Tengku Rizal Nurdin was the 13th Governor of North Sumatra, Indonesia. He served from 1998 until his death on 5 September 2005. In that time he was serving in his second period (2003–2008). In the previous period (1998–2003), he was also the Governor of North Sumatra.

The Mandailing people are an ethnic group in Sumatra, Indonesia that is commonly associated with the Batak people. They are found mainly in the northern section of the island of Sumatra in Indonesia. They came under the influence of the Kaum Padri who ruled the Minangkabau of Tanah Datar. As a result, the Mandailing were influenced by Muslim culture and converted to Islam. There are also a group of Mandailing in Malaysia, especially in the states of Selangor and Perak. They are closely related to the Angkola and Toba.
Sriwijaya Football Club, commonly known as Sriwijaya FC or simply SFC, is an Indonesian professional football club based in Palembang, South Sumatra. The club competes in the Liga 2, the second tier of Indonesian football. Founded on 23 October 2004, the team play their home games at Gelora Sriwijaya Stadium, which has a capacity of 23,000 spectators. The club won its first major honour, the Liga Indonesia Premier Division, in 2008. In the same season the club also won the Copa Indonesia, making them the first and only club in Indonesia to ever achieve the double. Sriwijaya have a fierce rivalry with nearby club Semen Padang, with whom they contest the Andalas derby.

Di Bawah Lindungan Ka'bah is the 1938 debut novel of the Indonesian author Haji Abdul Malik Karim Amrullah (1908–1981). Written while the author worked in Medan as the editor of an Islamic weekly magazine, the novel follows the doomed romance of a young Minang couple from different social backgrounds. The 1998 North Sumatra gubernatorial election was an indirect election held to elect the Governor of North Sumatra for the 1998–2003 term. All members of the Regional People's Representative Council of North Sumatra were eligible to vote for this election.
Nurhajizah Marpaung is an Indonesian retired military officer and politician who became the Vice Governor of North Sumatra from 2017 until 2018. Her last position in the military was as the General Counsel of the Ministry of Defense. She unsuccessfully ran for Regent of Asahan in 2015 and 2020.
Heru Budi Hartono is an Indonesian bureaucrat who has been the acting Governor of Jakarta since 2022 and Head of the Presidential Secretariat since 2017. He was the former Head of Jakarta Regional Asset Financial Management Agency under Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama between 2015 and 2017. A former mayor of North Jakarta, Heru was appointed by Governor Basuki to be a candidate for deputy governor in the 2017 Jakarta Regional Head Elections if he only advanced through an independent path. He is currently the acting Governor of Jakarta replacing Anies Baswedan since 17 October 2022, until the 2024 Jakarta election.
Abdul Rasjid Siregar gelar Mangaradja Mahkota Soeangkoepon, commonly known as Dr. Abdul Rasjid, was a politician and physician in the Dutch East Indies. He was elected or appointed to the Volksraad from 1931 to 1942, during which time he sat with the Indonesian nationalist faction. During the 1930s, he became convinced that public health and cooperation with traditional healers should be central to the mission of physicians in the Indies.
