"Paint My Love" is a song by Danish soft rock band Michael Learns to Rock. It was released as the first single from their 1997 album Nothing to Lose . [2] It was first released in 1996 from their Greatest Hits album Paint My Love (only in Asia) but later released as a promotional single in 1997 from their fourth album Nothing to Lose.
The song is an indirect English adaptation of the 1996 Dansk Melodi Grand Prix winner "Kun med dig", [3] which was composed by lead singer Jascha Richter and performed by Dorte Andersen and Martin Loft . [4]
The song is one of the band's most successful songs,reaching #4 in Denmark and #27 in Switzerland and it was also a hit in Asia. [5]

Michael Learns to Rock is a Danish soft rock and pop rock band formed in 1988. The band currently consists of Jascha Richter, Mikkel Lentz and Kåre Wanscher. Søren Madsen was an original member of the group since its formation but left in 2000. The band has sold over 11 million records over the course of their career, with the majority sold in Scandinavia and Asia. Despite being Danish, the band performs songs in English. The band has attributed its success in Asia to their drug-free, clean-living image and to singing in English as a second language.

"Kun med dig" was chosen as the Danish entry at the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix on 9 March. However, Denmark was one of seven countries which failed to qualify for the Eurovision final from a pre-qualifying round, so they were not represented in Oslo.
