The Pakistan Mas-Wrestling Federation (PMWF) is a national sports organization body of Mas-Wrestling which was formed in 2014. It has head quarter in Multan, Pakistan and it is affiliated with International Mas-Wrestling Federation.

Formation

Pakistan Mas-Wrestling Federation (PMWF) was formed in 2014 in Multan with the aim of promoting Mas-wrestling in Pakistan. PMWF was affiliated with International MAS-Wrestling Federation. [1]

Annual National Championship

Pakistan Mas-Wrestling Federation (PMWF) has been holding its national Mas-Wrestling championship annually since 2016 and it is open to all the nationals of Pakistan.

1st Annual Championship 2016

1st Annual Mas-Wrestling Championship in Pakistan was held in Multan on 17 December 2016. It was titled Open MAS-WRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIP. [2]

2nd Annual Championship 2018

2nd Annual Mas-Wrestling Championship in Pakistan was held in Lahore on 23 December 2018. It was titled 2nd Kyrgyz Ambassador National Mass-Wrestling. [3] [4]

3rd Annual Championship 2019

3nd Annual Mas-Wrestling Championship in Pakistan was held in Gujranwala on 7–8 December 2019. [5] It was titled 3nd Kyrgyz Ambassador National Mass-Wrestling [6] [7]

International Participation

Pakistan Mas-Wrestling Federation has arranged for Pakistani Athletes participation in international events held in Brazil, [8] United States [9] and 32nd World Arnold Classic. [10] Pakistani Athletes have won medals in international competitions in Brazil [ citation needed ] and United States [11] [12]

Muhammad Aslam, popularly known as Aslam Pahalwan, was a Pakistani professional wrestler and World Heavyweight Champion in professional wrestling. He was ranked as the world's No.9 by Wrestling Revue "Official Wrestling Ratings in December 1968. In Europe and America, he had wrestled as the All-India Champion. His son Jhara Pahalwan was also a wrestler.

It was started in 2008 by its chairman Shahbaz Sharif. It gives the scholarship to bright students which cannot afford their fees. The Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) is an initiative of the Government of Punjab. In order to make it more efficient, transparent and autonomous in its functioning, it is registered under section 42 of the Companies Ordinance, 1984. The company was registered on 31st Dec. 2008 and an initial endowment fund was established with a seed money of Rs.2 billion. The endowment fund has now been increased to Rs. 8 billion and the Government of Punjab, Pakistan has pledged to raise the endowment fund to Rs. 10 billion during the current FY 2012-13. Only the investment proceeds out of this fund are utilized for the award of scholarships. PEEF is established with the objective of providing scholarships to talented and needy students for pursuing quality education with equal opportunities. The Punjab Educational Endowment Fund endeavors to bring best educational opportunities to the less privileged and talented youth of Punjab, and bring them at par with the most fortunate ones and is striving to achieve the following objectives:

Akhtar Hassan Khan Gorchani is a Pakistani diplomat, politician, and former intelligence official. He graduated from Government College, Lahore in 1976. He sat in the competitive exam for the Central Superior Services in November 1980. He was assigned to the Police Service of Pakistan.
