The Ministry of Labour is a government agency in the State of Palestine established in 1994, responsible for labour and employment issues. Its mission is to create a favourable work environment, promote social justice, protect the rights of workers, and ensure that employers comply with labour laws and regulations. ^[1] Enas Dahadha Attari  [ ar ] is the current Minister of Labour. ^{[2] [3]}

Functions

The Ministry of Labour of Palestine is responsible for the following key functions: ^[4]

• Developing policies and strategies related to labour and employment.

• Administering labour laws and regulations, and ensuring compliance with them.

• Providing employment services, including job placement and vocational training.

• Protecting workers' rights and ensuring fair working conditions.

• Regulating the labour market and addressing issues related to labour mobility.

• Ensuring workplace safety and health, and preventing occupational hazards.

• Addressing the needs of vulnerable groups in the labour market, such as women, youth, and people with disabilities.
