Palora is a town in the Morona Santiago province of Ecuador. It is the seat of the Palora Canton.

Pelorus Jack was a Risso's dolphin that was famous for meeting and escorting ships through a stretch of water in Cook Strait, New Zealand. The animal was reported over a 24 year period, from 1888 until his disappearance after 1912. Pelorus Jack was usually spotted in Admiralty Bay between Cape Francis and Collinet Point, near French Pass, a notoriously dangerous channel used by ships travelling between Wellington and Nelson.
Sangay is an active stratovolcano in central Ecuador. It exhibits mostly strombolian activity. Geologically, Sangay marks the southern boundary of the Northern Volcanic Zone, and its position straddling two major pieces of crust accounts for its high level of activity. Sangay's approximately 500,000-year-old history is one of instability; two previous versions of the mountain were destroyed in massive flank collapses, evidence of which still litters its surroundings today.
Girish Puthenchery (1961–2010) was a noted Malayalam Lyricist, Poet, Scriptwriter and Screenwriter. He was always referred to as the aristocratic lyricist of malayalam who had a distinctive writing style of his own. He also served as the director of Indian Performance Rights Society Malayalam division (I.P.R.S) and governing council member of the Kerala Kalamandalam and Kerala Lalithakala Academy. He debuted with the movie Enquiry in 1989. He won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Lyricist seven times. He also holds the record for writing the highest number of songs in the malayalam film industry within the briefest period of time. He died on 10 february 2010 in a private hospital in kozhikode.
Ulliyeri is a village in Kozhikode district in the state of Kerala, India. Ulliyeri is between Koyilandy and Balussery and also between Kuttiyadi and Kozhikode.

Miss Pernambuco is a Brazilian Beauty pageant which selects the representative for the State of Pernambuco at the Miss Brazil contest. The pageant was created in 1955 and has been held every year since with the exception of 1990, and 1993. The pageant is held annually with representation of several municipalities. The competition was organized for thirty years by Miguel Braga but Braga passed away in 2021. Since 2021, the State director for Miss Pernambuco is Romildo Alves. Pernambuco still has yet to win any crowns in the national contest.
