Labrador is a geographic and cultural region within the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. It is the primarily continental portion of the province and constitutes 71% of the province's area but is home to only 6% of the province's population. It is separated from the island of Newfoundland by the Strait of Belle Isle. It is the largest and northernmost geographical region in Atlantic Canada.

The town was established as a Moravian mission in 1771 by Jens Haven and other missionaries. As of 2016, the population is 1,125 mostly Inuit and mixed Inuit-European.

Here, the highway connects with Route 320, which continues "the loop" down the west shore of Bonavista Bay exiting back to the Trans-Canada Highway in Gambo.
Route 350, commonly known as Botwood Highway, is a side highway in Central Newfoundland that leads from the Trans-Canada Highway in Bishop's Falls to Botwood, Point Leamington and Leading Tickles. It is 70.7 kilometres (43.9 mi) in length and contains several side roads to communities located off the route, such as Peterview, and Route 352 that leads to Point of Bay and the Cottrell's Cove-Fortune Harbour area. Route 350-17 branches off in Point Leamington and connects the small community of Pleasantview to the main route. Route 350 continues on from Point Leamington for another 25 km north to Leading Tickles where the road officially ends. Along the way there is another short road connecting Glovers Harbour to the main route as well.
Lodge Bay is a local service district and designated place in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. It is on the southeast coast of Labrador. Encompassing a population of less than one hundred residents, the community has uniquely evolved from both early European colonization of Labrador, and the inimitable patterns of land and resource use by the migratory Inuit population. The name Lodge Bay originated from the title Ranger Lodge, which was the name given to the area by trader and explorer, Captain George Cartwright in the late 18th century. "Ranger" was the name of the wooden-mercantile ship Cartwright used to trade, map and explore the Labrador coast, while "Lodge" was the name given to English hunting camps in Great Britain at that time.
Sandwich Bay, is a natural bay on the coast of Labrador in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. The principal permanent settlement is Cartwright, located at the south entrance to the inner part of the bay. Other settlements along the bay include Paradise River and North River. Both of these communities are located at the outlets of the rivers of the same name into the bay. The is a road following the entire eastern coastline of Sandwich Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador Route 516.
Route 520, also known as North West River Road, is a 45-kilometre-long (28 mi) north-south supplementary highway off of the Trans-Labrador Highway in Labrador, which connects Happy Valley-Goose Bay to North West River.
Route 100 is a major highway in Newfoundland and Labrador. The highway begins at its northern terminus at the Trans-Canada Highway in the town of Whitbourne, runs for 108 kilometres (67 mi) until it ends at its southern terminus, the town of Branch, where it transitions into Route 92. Motorists can drive along the coast of Placentia Bay and eventually the Atlantic Ocean once traveling south of Point Verde.
Route 516, also known as Cartwright Highway, is a 94-kilometre-long (58 mi) north–south highway in southeastern Labrador in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. It connects the town of Cartwright, along with the community of Paradise River, with the Trans-Labrador Highway at Cartwright Junction. The highway passes through remote, wooded, and hilly terrain for its entire length.
