Paranoid Visions are a punk rock band from Dublin, Ireland who formed in 1982.[1] They broke up in 1992, had reunion shows and eventually decided to reunite. The band ran their own label, F.O.A.D. (Fuck Off And Die), during the 1980s and 1990s.[2][3] The label was based in Dublin and run by guitarist, P.J. as is the bulk of their current administration to date.[4]
In 1987, the band started the FOAD2U2 campaign (meaning fuck off and die to U2). These letters could be seen sprayed all over Dublin at the time.[citation needed] Their EP, I Will Wallow is a parody of U2's album, Boy, and their single "I Will Follow".[5] The band went on hiatus in the early 1990s reforming for shows in 1996 with the Sex Pistols on the Filthy Lucre Tour and The Damned on their 25th anniversary tour of 2001. In 2005, Toxic Records released the compilation album Outside In, resulting in the band reforming for a few shows in support of the release. The reformation led to a creative burst and resulted in the Missing in Action EP. The critical and commercial success of the record continued the creative vein and between 2005 and 2017 the band released five new albums and 12 singles. The January 2009 release Beware of the God.[6] was voted number 107 in the list of the most important Irish albums in Hot Press magazine, whilst the singles "Politician", "Treasure on the Wasteland" and "Outsider Artist" (featuring TV Smith) all hit the Irish top 10.
In 2013, the band formed an unlikely alliance with Crass vocalist Steve Ignorant, which started out life as a single track and led on to regular live performances, two albums and two singles. The band alongside Ignorant have played some of the biggest alternative festivals in the world including Chicago's Riot Fest, Canada's Amnesia Festival and the annual appearance at the UK's Rebellion Festival. At the latter, the band performed a set featuring Crass songs for the first time in seven years, alongside tracks by Flux of Pink Indians, Poison Girls, DIRT and Conflict, as well as their own material. The 2016 album, Now and Then...! featuring Steve Ignorant, entered the Irish charts at number 6.[6]

An extended play (EP) is a musical recording that contains more tracks than a single but fewer than an album or LP record. Contemporary EPs generally contain eight or fewer tracks and have a playing time of 15 to 30 minutes. An "EP" is usually less cohesive than an album and more "non-committal".
Conflict is an English anarcho-punk band originally based in Eltham in South London. Formed in 1981, the band's original line up consisted of: Colin Jerwood (vocals), Francisco 'Paco' Carreno (drums), John, Steve (guitars), Pauline (vocals), Paul a.k.a. 'Nihilistic Nobody' (visuals). Their first release was the EP "The House That Man Built" on Crass Records. By the time they released their first album, It's Time to See Who's Who, on Corpus Christi Records, Pauline and Paul had left the band. Conflict later set up its own Mortarhate Records label, which put out releases by other artists including Hagar the Womb, Icons of Filth, Lost Cherrees, The Apostles, and Stalag 17.
Zounds are an English anarcho punk/post-punk band from Reading, Berkshire, formed in 1977. Originally they were part of the cassette culture movement, releasing material on the Fuck Off Records label, and were also involved in the squatting and free festival scene. The name of the band is derived from the old English minced oath "zounds", a contraction of "God's wounds", referring to the crucifixion wounds of Jesus Christ, formerly used as a mildly blasphemous oath.

999 are an English punk rock band, formed in London in December 1976. From 1976 to 1985, their line-up consisted of Nick Cash, Guy Days, Jon Watson and Pablo LaBritain (drums). LaBritain was temporarily replaced in 1980 by drummer Paul Edward while he recovered from a motor accident. Bassist Jon Watson left the band in 1985 and was replaced by Danny Palmer, who was succeeded by Arturo Bassick in 1991.
All The Madmen Records was a record label started by The Mob in Yeovil, England before relocating to London. Profits from the band's Let The Tribe Increase LP were ploughed back into the label, which was then co-organised by members of the collective which published the Kill Your Pet Puppy zine.
Sonny Vincent is an American Rock musician. He has been active in music since the '60s—in particular the mid-1970s, when he was part of the New York City punk rock scene with his original band, Testors. Vincent is currently active in music, film, multi-media art, and writing. His pedigree includes mid-70s Testors' performances at C.B.G.B. and Max's Kansas City. Always active in his own bands, Vincent also spent time touring and recording for 9 years as Maureen "Moe" Tucker and Sterling Morrison's guitar player Members of Vincent's bands include a vast range of players/characters, from the drummer of the Stooges, Scott Asheton, to Charles Manson's one-time guitar player, Ernie Knapp.
Sore Throat were a British crust punk band formed in Huddersfield in 1987. They are known for being one of the earliest exponents of the grindcore subgenre known as "noisecore", as well as for launching the careers of several prominent members of the British heavy metal community.
The International P.E.A.C.E. This Is Boston, Not L.A. is a hardcore punk compilation released in 1982. It is considered the definitive album from the Boston hardcore scene, as several of its most prominent bands appear on the record, namely, Jerry's Kids, the Proletariat, the Groinoids, the F.U.'s, Gang Green, Decadence, and the Freeze. For them, with the exception of the latter, This Is Boston, Not L.A. was also their debut release. Al Barile's band, SSD, were asked to contribute, but they refused to participate.

The Freeze is an American punk rock band from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, United States, formed by a group of teenagers in 1978. They released the first single, "I Hate Tourists" in 1980 and contributed eight songs, including the title track to the 1982 hardcore punk compilation This Is Boston, Not L.A.
The Cravats are an English punk rock band originally from Redditch, England, founded in 1977. The 'classic' line up of Robin Dallaway, The Shend, Svor Naan (saxophone) and Dave Bennett (drums) remained constant between March/April 1978 until the close of 1982. Lead vocals in the original incarnation of the band were shared between Dallaway and The Shend. A reformed version of The Cravats including original members The Shend (vocals) and Svor Naan (saxophone), with Rampton Garstang (drums) has been performing since August 2009 and, since 2013 has included Viscount Biscuits (guitar) and Joe 91.
The Baby Snakes were an Irish rock band formed in 1985. The original line-up featured Frank Rynne, Niall O'Sullivan and Johnny Bonney. In October 1985 they recorded a radio session for Dave Fanning's RTÉ radio show and reached No. 13 in Fanning's Fab 50, an end-of-year listeners poll, in December 1985. Their first L.P., Sweet Hunger, featured Brian Downey from Thin Lizzy on drums. Their second L.P. was produced by Dave Goodman. In 1988, after a BBC Radio 1 session for Janice Long, the band moved to London with new drummer Stephen R Kennedy [now a hydro engineer in France] who previously played in a band headed by Noel Phelan where they played a mix of underground venues as well as The Marquee.
The Blades are an Irish new wave band who formed in the late 1970s in the South Dublin neighbourhood of Ringsend, with Paul Cleary on bass and vocals, his brother Laurence on guitar and friend Pat Larkin on drums. The original line-up released two seven inch singles: "Hot For You" and "Ghost of a Chance", the latter of which they performed on The Late Late Show in 1981.

Lucrate Milk were a French art punk and No Wave band from Paris, France. The band lasted from 1979 to 1983. The group has retained a certain aura to this day in France's punk circles due to their complete lack of compromise and influence on the French DIY scene. Sometime after the disband of Lucrate Milk, some of the former members formed the band Bérurier Noir and Les Négresses Vertes.
