Gameplay
The ranger can walk on the shore or use an inflatable dinghy with an outboard motor to go into the water.
Turtles kill on contact. If one falls into the water it can be rescued for points but turn into a fast-moving green turtle if left for too long.
Snakes lurk in the water and can puncture the dinghy. They can be scared away temporarily by dropping snake repellent (at the cost of energy).
Swimmers can be rescued when calling for help.
Ants steel food from the hut, which can be recovered by bumping into them from the side (and killed by knocking them into the water).
On the shore is the ranger's hut, which contains food to top up energy. A plant near the hut grows every time the ranger walks into it. When it flowers, the ranger gets a short period of immunity.
By approaching at the right angle, the ranger can jump out of the dinghy and land on floating lots, starting a logrolling mini-game.
Once all the litter is collected, a bonus is awarded based on energy remaining.

Fathom Five National Marine Park is a National Marine Conservation Area in the Georgian Bay part of Lake Huron, Ontario, Canada, that seeks to protect and display shipwrecks and lighthouses, and conserve freshwater ecosystems. Parks Canada has management plans for the aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems, with a multi-action plan for species that are at risk, including endemic species, the Monarch butterfly, the eastern ribbonsnake, and the eastern whip-poor-will. The aquatic ecosystems in the park are also of particular interest. Many fish, shellfish, amphibians, and eels are an attraction for naturalists in the park. Much of this wildlife is accessible to scuba divers and snorkellers in the park. The many shipwrecks make the park a popular scuba diving destination, and glass bottom boat tours leave Tobermory regularly, allowing tourists to see the shipwrecks without having to get wet. Additionally, there are three main popular hiking trails found within Fathom Five National Marine Park that provides visitors with views of old growth forests and the Georgian Bay. The Saugeen Ojibway Peoples have inhabited the Bruce Peninsula and the area that is now Fathom Five National Marine Park for thousands of years. This land provided for their communities and their people with the plethora of wildlife and plant life. They provide the local knowledge about Lake Huron and its ecological value to the reserve, park, and their overall livelihood. Parks Canada and Saugeen Ojibway People's collaboration is said to yield a benefit to both parties with regard to overall ecosystem knowledge.
The Shredder is a supervillain and the main antagonist of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles media franchise created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. The character first appeared in the comic book Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 in May 1984, and has since endured as the archenemy of the turtles and their rat sensei/adoptive father, Splinter.

The game was followed by Special Forces in 1991.
Bio Menace is a 1993 game developed and published by Apogee Software for MS-DOS. A 2D multidirectional scrolling platform game, it was built on a licensed version of id Software's Commander Keen game engine. Apart from the engine and music, all in-game content was created by the game's designer, Jim Norwood. In 2014, the game was re-released on Steam, and in 2015 on GOG.com with support for Microsoft Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Yogi Bear is a 1987 arcade adventure video game developed by British studio Dalali and published by Piranha Software. It was released in Europe for Amstrad CPC, Commodore 64 (C64), and ZX Spectrum. In the game, Yogi Bear sets out to rescue Boo-Boo after he is captured by a hunter. Yogi Bear received praise for its graphics, but criticism for its controls.
