PartyCasino is an online casino first launched in 1997 under the name Starluck Casino, before relaunching in 2006 as a fully integrated platform. [1] The casino offers more than 500 games, ranging from casino like blackjack and roulette to a wide selection of online slots and live dealer experiences.

Following the 2011 merger of Party Gaming PLC and bwin Interactive Entertainment AG, PartyCasino became one of Gaming VC Holdings PLC’s (GVC) leading casino brands. [2] Entain operates four main product verticals, sports, casino, poker and bingo, along with other core brands such as CasinoClub, Betboo, Sportingbet, Bwin, partypoker, Foxy Bingo, and Gioco Digitale. History

PartyCasino was originally launched as Starluck Casino by Ruth Parasol under iGlobal Media. It went on to become one of the first successful online casinos in the late 1990s. [4] Its early success led to the creation of PartyPoker (2001) and PartyBingo (2003). By 2005, PartyGaming was listed on the London Stock Exchange, valued at £4.64 billion, enough to secure a place in the FTSE100 Index. [5]

In 2011, bwin Interactive Entertainment and PartyGaming completed their merger, [6] creating the world’s largest listed online gaming company at the time. [7]

In February 2016, GVC Holdings acquired bwin.party digital entertainment plc, expanding its global presence. [8] The group, headquartered in the Isle of Man, hold gaming licenses in numerous jurisdictions including the Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Italy, Denmark, Germany (Schleswig-Holstein), Spain, Malta, UK, South Africa, and the Dutch Caribbean. In June 2017, PartyCasino relaunched to players with an all-new look and feel. [10] The updated design, the result of an ongoing collaboration between PartyCasino employees and the Leeds-based advertising agency Home, replaced the site’s previous cartoon style with a more sophisticated aesthetic, featuring prominent photo-realistic imagery and lens flare lighting effects. [11] The overhaul aimed to elevate the brand’s premium positioning in the competitive online gaming market, enhancing user immersion and aligning with modern digital entertainment standards. [12]

In 2021, McLaren Racing announced a multi-year partnership with Entain's brands, PartyCasino and PartyPoker. [13] The partnership was officially launched at the 2021 Monaco Grand Prix on May 23. The collaboration aims to combine motorsport, technology, and entertainment to promote safer, more responsible gaming. [14]

In 2024, Entain reaffirmed its commitment to responsible gambling through its Sustainability Charter, which includes initiatives from PartyCasino focused on player protection and ethical gaming standards. [15] That same year, Entain was listed among the UK’s top companies for ESG (environmental, social, and governance) progress, highlighting PartyCasino as one of its flagship brands in digital entertainment. In early 2025, Quickspin announced an expanded partnership with Entain to introduce new slot titles through PartyCasino Spain and bwin Casino, further strengthening the brand’s European footprint. [18]
