Parvati Devi was an Indian politician based in Bihar. She was a member of Bihar Legislative Assembly from Tarapur Assembly constituency in Munger district of Bihar. Devi belonged to political family of Shakuni Choudhary. Chaudhary was a seven times Member of Bihar Legislative Assembly and a former member of Indian Parliament (Lok Sabha) from Khagaria Lok Sabha constituency. She was a social activist besides being a politician and is known for her social activities in the Munger district of Bihar. [1] [2]

In 1977, she participated in Indian General elections from Balia Lok Sabha constituency as an independent candidate, but she was defeated.

Samrat Choudhary alias Rakesh Kumar is an Indian politician and Member of Bihar Legislative Council from the Bharatiya Janata Party. He has been the party president of BJP Bihar State unit from March 2023. He has also remained Member of Legislative Assembly and a minister in Government of Bihar in Rashtriya Janata Dal government. Chaudhary has been a former Vice President of BJP for the state of Bihar and currently elected for the second term as MLC in 2020 after his first term ended in 2019. In 2014 Samrat planned a split in Rashtriya Janata Dal by defecting thirteen MLAs as splinter group of the party. He later joined BJP. In 2022, he was selected as the Leader of Opposition in Bihar Legislative Council.

Rajeev Kumar Singh is a Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) representing Tarapur constituency in the Bihar Legislative Assembly in India. He is a member of Janata Dal (United). He has been elected as the MLA on 2 November 2021. Singh got the ticket from Janata Dal (United) amidst the confusion over allocation of Tarapur constituency to Rohit Chaudhary, the younger brother of leader of opposition in Bihar Legislative Council, Samrat Chaudhary. The Tarapur constituency was the stronghold of Shakuni Choudhury, who had influence over Kushwaha voters, who are dominant in this assembly constituency. However, Rajiv Kumar Singh, himself a Kushwaha, was able to defeat his nearest rival in the bypolls of 2021.

He is also the winner of 1972 Bihar Legislative Assembly election from Ekangarsara Assembly constituencyi and 1985 Bihar Legislative Assembly election and October 2005 Bihar Legislative Assembly election from Islampur Assembly constituency.

Nilam Devi, also Neelam Devi, is an Indian politician representing Mokama assembly constituency in the Bihar Legislative Assembly.

Lipi Singh is a 2016 batch Indian Police Service officer, who has served on various significant positions in Bihar Police. Singh is a daughter of former Janata Dal (United) leader, Ramchandra Prasad Singh, who was once considered close to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, before joining Bharatiya Janata Party. She is known primarily for her actions against Bihar politician, Anant Kumar Singh, who was wanted by police in several criminal cases, including murder and possession of harmful weapons. Singh was made investigation incharge of the cases against Anant Singh. She had also served as the Assistant Superintendent of the Anti Terrorist Squad, where she was transferred during 2019 Bihar Lok Sabha elections by Election Commission of India. After the elections, she was reposted as the Sub Divisional Police Officer of Barh. In 2021, she was made Superintendent of Police for Saharsa district. Singh is married to Indian Administrative Service officer, Suharsha Bhagat, a resident of Samastipur district of Bihar.
