Paschalis Tountouris (born 25 April 1978) is a football agent of Greek nationality. He is registered in multiple Football Federations. Tountouris is the owner of Prosport, [1] an international agency which was founded in 2004 and successfully concluded over 300 football transfers around the world. Tountouris represents a number of well known players and coaches including former Greek Captain Giorgos Karagounis, [2] [3] Greek Internationals Konstantinos Tsimikas, Anastasios Douvikas, Dimitrios Kourbelis, Anastasios Chatzigiovanis upcoming stars Konstantinos Koulierakis and Sotiris Alexandropoulos, South African stars Andile Jali [4] and Bernard Parker, Zimbabwean Captain Knowledge Musona, manager Giannis Anastasiou [5] and others.

Early career

Tountouris began his career as the Sports Director of Aris Thessaloniki F.C. [6] and later as the Head of World Football Division of Prosport International, [7] the largest agency in Africa which is run by infamous South African agent Mike Makaab. During his involvement with African football he successfully transferred to Europe several International stars including Knowledge Musona, [8] Jabu Pule, Collins Mbesuma, Bernard Parker, Nasief Morris, Jonathan Mensah [9] and more.

Anti-racism activity

On 14 April 2008 Tountouris organized a conference in Athens Metropolitan Hotel in order to mobilize the Greek society in the battle against racism. [10] Many politicians, journalists and sports celebrities attended the day conference including the President of the Hellenic Football Federation Sofoklis Pilavios, International footballers Manucho, Nasief Morris and Simão Mate Junior, South African Olympic Champion Elana Meyer, [11] Apostolos Tzitzikostas, Yannis Moralis and more.

Tsimikas transfer to Liverpool F.C.

In August 2020 Tountouris concluded as an agent the most prestigious transfer of a Greek player with the signing of Konstantinos Tsimikas to Liverpool F.C. for a fee believed to be around €17mil from Olympiacos Piraeus [12]

Politics

In May 2023 Tountouris was elected as a councilor for the municipality of Thessaloniki lining up with the party of New Democracy (Greece) [13] On 25 September 2019 Tountouris was appointed as a debuty chairman of E.A.K (National Sports Centers of Thessaloniki) [14]

The season was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and all Olympiacos' games were played behind closed doors. The 2021–22 season was the 97th season in existence of Olympiacos and the club's 63rd consecutive season in the top flight of Greek football. Olympiacos participated in the Greek Super League winning their 47th title, finishing 19 points ahead of PAOK who came second. Olympiacos also participated in this season's Greek Cup, UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League. During the season Pedro Martins became the longest-serving Piraeus coach in a single term. The season covers the period from July 2021 to late May 2022.

The 2021–22 season was the 108th season in the existence of Aris Thessaloniki F.C. and the club's 4th consecutive season in the top flight of Greek football since their return there. In addition to the Super League 1, Aris were participating in this season's editions of the Greek Cup and the inaugural edition of UEFA Europa Conference League.

The 2021–22 Panathinaikos season is the club's 63rd consecutive season in Super League Greece. They also compete in the Greek Cup.

The 2022–23 season is PAS Giannina F.C.'s 27th competitive season in the top flight of Greek football, 12th season in the Super League Greece, and 57th year in existence as a football club. They also compete in the Greek Cup.

The 2022–23 Panathinaikos season is the club's 64th consecutive season in Super League Greece. They also compete in the Greek Cup and the UEFA Europa Conference League. The season covers the period from 10 July 2022 to 13 May 2023.

The 2022–23 season was the 109th season in the existence of Aris Thessaloniki and the club's 5th consecutive season in the top flight of Greek football since their return there. In addition to the Super League 1, Aris participated in this season's editions of the Greek Cup and the UEFA Europa Conference League.
