Charles Lee is an American former professional basketball player and current associate head coach for the Milwaukee Bucks of the NBA. A 6'3" guard from Bucknell University, he spent most of his professional career in Israel and Europe. Lee is married to his college sweetheart Lindsey. She also played basketball at Bucknell.
The Lafayette Leopards represent the 23 Division I varsity athletic teams of Lafayette College and compete in the Patriot League. There are 11 men's teams, 11 women's teams, and one co-ed team. The club teams also compete as the Leopards. Though not a varsity sport, crew and ice hockey are very competitive at Lafayette and play in intercollegiate club leagues.

Charles R. Woollum is the former head coach for the Bucknell Bison men's basketball team from 1975 to 1994. During his 19 years at the program's helm, Woollum compiled a 318–221 record. This victory total is higher than that of any other coach in any one sport in Bucknell's intercollegiate athletic history. The Bison reached the NCAA Tournament in 1987 and 1989 by winning the East Coast Conference Tournament. Woollum also won six regular season conference titles, three ECC and one Patriot League Coach of the Year awards, coached 27 all-conference players, three league players of the year, six Academic All-Americans and all seven of the top scorers in school history. He was inducted into the Bucknell Hall of Fame in 1995.

Dave Paulsen is an American college basketball coach who was formerly the head men's basketball coach at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. He was previously the head coach at Bucknell University for seven seasons. Prior to Bucknell, he spent eight years as the head coach at his alma mater, Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts, and also coached at St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York, and Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York.

The Bison, led by seventh year head coach Dave Paulsen, played their home games at Sojka Pavilion and were members of the Patriot League. They finished the season 19–15, 13–5 in Patriot League play to win the Patriot League regular season championship. They advanced to the semifinals of the Patriot League tournament where they lost to Lafayette. As a regular season league champion who failed to win their league tournament, they received an automatic bid to the National Invitation Tournament where they lost in the first round to Temple.

They finished the season 17–14, 14–4 in Patriot League play to win the regular season league championship. They lost in the quarterfinals of the Patriot League tournament to Holy Cross. As a regular season champion who failed to win their league tournament, they received an automatic bid to the National Invitation Tournament where they lost in the first round to Monmouth.

The Bison, led by second-year head coach Nathan Davis, played their home games at Sojka Pavilion in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania as members of the Patriot League. They finished the regular season 23–8, 15–3 in Patriot League play to win the regular season championship, their third straight title and sixth in seven years. As the No. 1 seed in the Patriot League tournament, they defeated Army, Navy, and Lehigh to win the tournament championship. As a result, the Bison received the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament as the No. 13 seed in the West region. There they lost in the first round to West Virginia.

They won the Patriot League women's tournament to earn an automatic trip to the NCAA women's tournament for the first time since 2008, where they lost to Maryland in the first round.

In the round of 32, the Bison were beaten by No. 6 seed Wisconsin.

They won the Patriot League tournament to earn an automatic bid to the 2006 NCAA tournament where they defeated No. 8 seed Arkansas in the opening round. In the round of 32, the Bison were beaten by No. 1 seed Memphis. This was the second straight season the Bison reached the round of 32 of the NCAA Tournament.
