Pious Patric Rozario, known as "Patric Rozario" (born 11 July 1964, Selangor, Malaysia), is an artist and designer based in Doha, Qatar. Rozario's trades as "Own a Rozario". He designs and creates artistic metal panels made of aluminium coated with epoxy resin. The panels are decorated with embedded pearls, Swarovski crystals, gems and semi-precious stones. He also works with brass, copper, silver, zinc and gold. [1]
Rosario gained notability as an artist in 2002. [2] He was invited to present his work at a group exhibition entitled Five Expressions. Rozario creates pictures on poster board using coloured thread. He uses glue and acrylic paint to hold the threads in place. Rosario presented his work at the gallery "The Art Publisher", Bangsar and at a gallery in Petaling Jaya. In February 2008, Rozario painted a portrait of Plácido Domingo and presented it to him during a performance at the Pearl hotel in Kuala Lumpur. [3]
In March 2011, Rozario presented his work at the Al Hosh art gallery in Souq Waqif, Doha and then at Café Ceramique in Doha. The collection was called "Cloud Dance". It consisted of works in acrylic paint of Doha's architectural landmarks including Museum of Islamic Art, the Sheraton Doha Hotel, and the Katara Cultural Village. [1] [4] In August 2011, Rozario presented his collection, Swarovski Towers to Moza bint Nasser the first lady of Qatar at the Al Wajbah palace.
In 2012, Rosario started works called Pearlappetite. The works consisted of pearls, semi-precious stones, and crystals set on colourful ceramic and glass plates. In October 2012, H.E. Dato' Ahmad Jazri Mohamed Johar, the ambassador of Malaysia to Qatar commissioned Rozario to create a Pearlappetite gift to present to Datin Paduka Seri Hajjah Rosmah Mansor, the first lady of Malaysia. In 2012, Rozario assisted sixty-two children in Doha to create gifts of art to present to the families of people who died in the Villagio Mall fire of May that year. [5] [6] In the same year, Rozario became a founding member of the Visual Arts Forum India (VAFI) which aims to provide a platform to elevate Indian visual artists in Qatar. [1] In February 2014, Rozario's 'Pearlappetite' collection was published as a coffee table book. [1]
In March 2014, Rozario collaborated with three other artists to produce an "Eco Pond" made from domestic plastic waste at The Pearl hotel, Qatar. [7] [8] [9]
The Museum of Islamic Art is a museum on one end of the seven-kilometer-long (4.3 mi) Corniche in Doha, Qatar. As per the architect I. M. Pei's specifications, the museum is built on an island off an artificial projecting peninsula near the traditional dhow harbor. A purpose-built park surrounds the edifice on the eastern and southern facades while two bridges connect the southern front facade of the property with the main peninsula that holds the park. The western and northern facades are marked by the harbor showcasing the Qatari seafaring past. In September 2017, Qatar Museums appointed Julia Gonnella as director of MIA. In 2024 Julia Gonnella became director of the Lusail Museum and was replaced by Shaika Nasser Al-Nassr. In November 2022 the MIA became the first carbon-neutral certified museum in the Middle East Region. The museum participated in the Expo 2023 Doha from October 2023 until March 2024, with workshops and events focusing on biodiversity and sustainability.
Villaggio Mall is a shopping mall located in the Aspire Zone in the west end of Doha, the capital city of Qatar. It is located on Al Waab street between the Hyatt Plaza and Sports City and has over 200 stores, including many famous brands in the U.S., U.K., Italian and German markets.
Aspire Park is located in Aspire Zone, in the southern district of Baaya in Doha, Qatar. It covers an area of 88 hectares and it is Doha's biggest park. It is a great place to have picnics and family outdoors while overlooking the Aspire Tower, especially at night. The park has different features such as beautiful fountains, playgrounds for children, and other fun features. It has the only lake in Qatar, a small hill, a coffee shop where different kinds of beverages can be bought, and various kinds of trees, both rare and common. Located close by is the Aspire Tower, a 300-meter modern hotel, which served as a giant torch for the 15th Asian Games. On March 23, 2020, The ministry of Commerce and Industry closed the Aspire Park, along with other parks, due to the COVID-19 outbreak. It has been since reopened.
Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art is a museum in Doha, Qatar with over 9,000 objects. Established in 2010, it is considered a major cultural attraction in the country.

Christopher H. Martin is an American artist working with paintings on acrylic and canvas mediums. A self-taught artist, he is known for his signature technique of painting in reverse, using acrylic paint on a clear sheet of acrylic. Martin modernizes the 14th century technique of "Verre Églomisé" to layer acrylic paint on the reverse side of his acrylic canvas in creating his original pieces. In 2006 Martin began working on his third medium, Metallic Prints. Martin has created twenty-two Metallic Print series, totaling two hundred and fifty-one photographs.
