Patricia Hy-Boulais is a former tennis player. She turned professional on 12 October 1986. Early in her career she represented Hong Kong. She became a citizen of Canada in 1991. However, she represented Canada since the beginning of the 1988 season. Her best performance at a Grand Slam came when she got to the quarter-finals of the 1992 US Open, defeating Eva Švíglerová, Judith Wiesner, Jennifer Capriati and Helena Suková before losing to eventual champion Monica Seles.
Patricia Noall is a former competition swimmer who represented Canada in international swimming championships during the 1980s and early 1990s, competing in freestyle events. She won 14 medals in international competition, including the Olympics, Pan Pacific Championships, Commonwealth Games, and World University Games.
China's Li Ting and Sun Tiantian defeated Spain's Conchita Martínez and Virginia Ruano Pascual in the final, 6–3, 6–3 to win the gold medal in Women's Doubles tennis at the 2004 Summer Olympics. In the bronze medal match, Argentina's Paola Suárez and Patricia Tarabini defeated Japan's Shinobu Asagoe and Ai Sugiyama, 6–3, 6–3.

Northern Rhodesia competed in the Summer Olympic Games for the first time at the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. 12 competitors, 11 men and 1 woman, took part in 13 events in 5 sports. These were the only Games for Northern Rhodesia. On 24 October 1964, the country became independent from the UK and changed its name from Northern Rhodesia to Zambia, the first time a country entered an Olympic games as one country and left it as another. For that ceremony, the team celebrated by marching with a new placard with the word "Zambia" on it. They were the only team to use a placard for the closing ceremony.
The Netherlands women's national water polo team is the national team of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. It was one of the leading teams in the world during the 1980s and 1990s. More recently they claimed the gold medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The team is governed by the Koninklijke Nederlandse Zwembond (KNZB).
Patricia Joan Keller McCormick was an American competitive diver who won both diving events at two consecutive Summer Olympics, in 1952 and 1956. She won the James E. Sullivan Award for best amateur athlete in the US in 1956 – the second woman to do so, after Ann Curtis.
Patricia Tarabini is an Argentine tennis coach and former player. She represented her country and won the bronze medal at the 2004 Athens Olympic games, with Paola Suárez, where they lost 7–9 in the third set to eventual gold medalists from China, Sun Tiantian and Li Ting. On 9 May 1988, Tarabini reached her highest singles ranking of world No. 29. Her career-high doubles ranking is No. 12, which she achieved on 17 August 1998. Patricia turned pro in 1986, and won a total of 15 top-level doubles titles in her career. She is the 1996 French Open mixed-doubles champion, partnering with Javier Frana.
The Peru women's national volleyball team was one of the dominant forces in women's volleyball in the 1980s, culminating in the silver medal won at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. The team's nickname is Las Hijas del Sol
Patricia Guerra Cabrera is a Spanish sailor who won gold medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. She did so in the 470 class alongside Theresa Zabell. She also competed at the 1988 Summer Olympics, finishing in tenth place.
MyKayla Brooke Skinner Harmer is an American former artistic gymnast. She was the 2020 Olympic vault silver medalist and was an alternate for the 2016 Olympic team. Skinner competed at the 2014 World Championships where she contributed to the U.S. team's gold medal, also winning an individual bronze medal on vault. She won 11 total medals at the USA National Championships during her senior career. She also competed for the University of Utah's gymnastics team and was a two-time NCAA champion.
Roy Chan Kum Wah is a Singaporean former swimmer and skin doctor. He competed at the 1972 Summer Olympics in the 100 m and 200 m butterfly and 200 m medley events, but failed to reach the finals. He was part of the 4×200 m relay team that won a bronze medal at the 1970 Asian Games.
Claudia Patricia Murillo is a Salvadorian model and beauty pageant titleholder. She was crowned Nuestra Belleza El Salvador 2014 and represented her country at the Miss Universe 2014 pageant. She was said to be the "Mesoamerican Queen" based on her Native American physical features, as well as her national costume where she portrayed the Siguanaba mythology. Patricia was born in the town of Juayúa, which means "River of purple orchids", in Native American Pipil language. Although Patricia did not place in Miss Universe, she was a fan favorite, gaining much media attention and is considered one of the most memorable Miss El Salvador and Central American beauty queen in recent history due to her beauty and performance.
Callum Skinner is a British former track cyclist. He won the silver medal in the individual sprint at the 2016 Summer Olympics, and was a member of the British team that won gold in the team sprint.
Patricia E. Skinner, FRHistS is a British historian and academic, specialising in Medieval Europe. She was until August 2020 Professor of History at Swansea University. She was previously Reader in Medieval History at the University of Winchester and Lecturer in Humanities at the University of Southampton. She has published extensively on the social history of southern Italy and health and medicine. With Dr Emily Cock, she started the project "Effaced from History: Facial Difference and its Impact from Antiquity to the Present Day" to study the history of facial disfigurement.
Patricia Rucker is a Republican member of the West Virginia Senate, representing the 16th district since January 11, 2017. Rucker served as the chairwoman of the Senate Education Committee from 2019 to 2022.
