Patrick Brion Estes (born February 4, 1983) is a former American football offensive tackle. He was originally drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the seventh round of the 2005 NFL draft. [1] He played college football at Virginia.
Estes played high school football in Richmond, Virginia for the Benedictine Cadets. He also was a stand out basketball player there.
He played in the first ever U.S. Army All-American Bowl game on December 30, 2000.
Estes, who was considered one of the top recruits in the country at tight end, spent his career as a backup to Virginia's All-American Heath Miller but received frequent playing time particularly as a blocker. In a game against South Carolina in 2002, he caught a touchdown pass from Miller. Though he played as a tight end in college he was converted to offensive tackle by the 49ers.
Patrick became the athletic director at The Covenant School (Charlottesville, Virginia) in July 2024. He announced his candidacy for the Democratic Nomination for Albemarle County Sheriff in February 2019. [2]
Jonas Duran Jennings is a former American football offensive tackle that played in the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the third round of the 2001 NFL draft. He has also played for the San Francisco 49ers. He played college football at Georgia. Jennings is now director of player development for his alma mater, the University of Georgia. He was part of the Bulldogs' coaching staff that won the National Championship over Alabama in the 2021 season.
Jason Raynard Peters is an American professional football offensive tackle who is a free agent. He played college football for the Arkansas Razorbacks and was signed as a tight end by the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent after the 2004 NFL draft. He played college football at Virginia Tech and is currently on the coaching staff. He received a degree from Virginia Tech in interdisciplinary studies, graduating on May 14, 2011. Pierson served as the director of player development - defense under Justin Fuente at Virginia Tech from 2019 to 2021. Upon the hiring of Brent Pry as the new head coach for the Hokies, Pierson was promoted to an on-field position as the safeties coach, replacing fellow Hokie Justin Hamilton.
