Patrick Shevelle Love (born July 23, 1968) is an American gospel musician. He started his music career with the release of Wait on the Lord, released in 1994, by Crystal Rose Records. His second album, The Vision, was released by Crystal Rose Records in 1998. Both albums charted on the Billboard magazine Gospel Albums charts.

Early life

Love was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, [1] as Patrick Shevelle Love. [2] His father is a retired stevedore; his mother was a small business owner and early childhood educator. [1] Patrick is a 1986 graduate of West Mecklenburg High School.

Music career

Patrick's formal music career began in 1994, with inspiration from Donald Lawrence, who attended his church, Salem Baptist Church. [1] Lawrence helped to foster Love's career by signing him, along with his choir, to the label that he co-owned, Crystal Rose Records. [1] Lawrence helped to produce the two albums that Love released. [1] The 1994 release of Wait on the Lord was Love's breakthrough release on the Billboard magazine Gospel Albums at No. 18. [1] [3] His second album, The Vision, was released on March 10, 1998, [4] and it charted at No. 16 on the aforementioned chart. [5]

Byron Manard Chambers, who goes by the stage name Mr. TalkBox, is an American Christian hip hop and Christian R&B musician who plays urban contemporary gospel, contemporary R&B, and funk.

Jacob Ernest Washington, who goes by the stage name Je'kob, is an American Christian hip hop and urban contemporary gospel musician. He has released one studio album, This Side of the Sky in 2014, while this charted on the Billboard magazine charts. He has released three extended plays, Faith, Hope, and Love in 2012, where the first two charted. His first compilation album, Faith Hope Love in 2013, was the unification of all three extended play's on one album.

His first album was Count It All Joy, released in 2006, from EMI Gospel. Two songs from the album, "Yes Lord" and "Thank Ya Jesus", charted on the Billboard magazine Gospel Songs chart. Two songs also appeared on the WOW Gospel Albums: in 2005, "Glory Hallelujah", and in 2007, "Thank Ya Jesus".
