Pattathu Rani was produced by Sunbeam and G. K. Combines, [2] directed by S. Ramanathan, [3] and written by Javar Seetharaman. Cinematography was handled by G. Vittal Rao and editing by Paul Duraisingam. [1] [4]

Music

The music was composed by T. K. Ramamoorthy, and the lyrics were written by Vaali, Alangudi Somu and Thanjaivanan. [5]

Release

Pattathu Rani was released on 14 January 1967, [2] during the festive occasion of Pongal, [6] and was distributed by Venkatachalapathy Pictures. [1] Kalki criticised the film's outdated story. [7]
