Paul Barnaby "PB" Scott (born November 22, 1975) is a British businessman, active in the Caribbean. He is chairman, CEO, and majority shareholder of the Musson Group of Companies, [1] which has controlling stakes in public and private companies operating in more than 30 countries throughout the Caribbean, Central American region, and the Pacific. Career

Scott joined the Musson Group of Companies in 1994, and progressed to the role of CEO in 2004, succeeding Desmond Blades. He was later named Chairman of the board in 2009.[ citation needed ]

Scott also is Chairman of Eppley; [3] an alternative investment company in the Caribbean. Eppley Caribbean Property Fund is the largest listed real estate mutual fund in the Caribbean. [4]

Public service

Scott has served as part of several boards, organizations, and commissions in Jamaica. He is the current Chairman of the Development Bank of Jamaica (DBJ) [5] and the Treasurer of the American International School of Kingston (AISK). [6] He is currently a founding director and deputy chairman of the Caribbean Private Sector Organisation (CPSO). [7]

He is also a past president of the Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica (PSOJ) [8] and a former Honorary Consul General for the Republic of Guatemala in Jamaica.

In 2017, Scott was awarded the Jamaican national honor of the Order of Distinction (Commander Rank) for his contribution to business development in Jamaica and the Caribbean. [9] In August 2023, Scott’s contribution to Jamaica’s economic development was further recognised by the government with the award of one of the county’s highest national honours, the Order of Jamaica (OJ). Shirley Miller is a Jamaican attorney and one of the first women admitted as Queen's Counsel in the Caribbean. Admitted to the inner bar in 1971, she became the first Queen's Counsel in Jamaica and has served in numerous capacities, including as head of the Legal Reform Department and on the Electoral Advisory Committee. She served on a committee of three to review Jamaica's Charter of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms and was honored as a commander in the Order of Distinction, as well as receiving the Order of Jamaica for her contributions to legal reform.

Barbara Joy Gloudon was a Jamaican writer. She received two Seprod Awards from the Press Association of Jamaica and Order of Distinction. Gloudon was a scriptwriter for Jamaica's Little Theatre Movement (LTM) and wrote radio drama. She hosted a radio talk show for thirty years and became chair of the LTM. She was granted the Order of Jamaica in 1992 and became a fellow of the Institute of Jamaica in 2012.

Nigel Andrew Lincoln Clarke is Minister of Finance and the Public Service of Jamaica. He is a Jamaican Member of Parliament, company director, business executive and statesman. He has served as chairman or director of over 20 Jamaican public and private sector economic enterprises. His public sector directorships have included the Bank of Jamaica ; Chairman of the Port Authority of Jamaica ; Chairman of the National Housing Trust and Chairman of the HEART Trust NTA. In 2016, Dr. Clarke was appointed by the Most Hon. Andrew Holness, Prime Minister of Jamaica, to serve as Jamaica's Ambassador-at-Large for Economic Affairs within the Office of the Prime Minister. Ambassador Clarke previously served as a Senator in the Upper House of the Jamaican parliament between 2013 and 2015.

Dr. Henry Isaac Clore Lowe OJ OD is a Jamaican scientist, philanthropist and businessperson. His career began in academia where he worked at College of Art, Science, and Technology (CAST) for 16 years, before entering public life by joining the Ministry of Energy. He now owns and manages a variety of businesses in the health industry.
