Paul Codd (born 1 December 1976 in Rathnure, County Wexford) is an Irish sportsperson. He plays hurling with his local club Rathnure and was a member of the Wexford senior inter-county team from 1995 until 2006. [1] [2] He captained Wexford. [3] He was introduced as a substitute in the dying minutes of the 1996 All-Ireland Hurling Championship final which Wexford won.
Nicholas Rackard was an Irish hurler whose league and championship career with the Wexford senior team spanned seventeen years from 1940 to 1957. He established many championship scoring records, including being the top championship goal-scorer of all time with 59 goals. Rackard is widely regarded as one of the greatest hurlers in the history of the game.
