Paul Estermann (born 24 June 1963 in Lucerne, Canton of Lucerne) [1] is a Swiss equestrian who competes in the sport of show jumping.
In June 2012, Paul Estermann was ranked 156 in the world. [2]
In 2023, he was banned from equestrian sport for seven years after he was found guilty of animal cruelty. [3]
Paul Estermann learnt to ride growing up on his family's farm in Traselinge, Switzerland. He began riding on a pony, then a jumper. During his apprenticeship as a farmer he devoted his leisure time to show jumping. [1]
In 2012, he competed with Castelfield Eclipse at his first Olympics in the team jumping and individual jumping events.
Paul has one daughter [4] and manages the equestrian centre (Reitsportcenter) Estermann in Hildisrieden, above Lake Sempach, where he is currently living. [1]

He is president of the organizing committee behind the Athina Onassis International Horse Show, which debuted in 2007 as the fifth stage of the Global Champions Tour in São Paulo. In 2008, the AOIHS-São Paulo event was the final phase of the tour. For the tour in 2009, the host city of the AOIHS was Rio de Janeiro.

Benjamin Richard Maher MBE is a British show jumper. He represented Britain at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, 2009 European Championships in Windsor, 2012 London Olympics, 2016 Rio Olympics, the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and the 2024 Paris Olympics. He won the team jumping gold at the London Olympics with Team GB, their first team jumping gold medal for 60 years, an individual gold for Great Britain at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, and team jumping gold again at the 2024 Paris Summer Games. That win tied him with three-day eventer Richard Meade and dressage rider Charlotte Dujardin as the most successful British Olympic equestrians.

Ashlee Bond is an Israeli Olympic show jumping rider who competes for Israel. Born in the United States, she is an Israeli citizen. She represented Israel at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, coming in 11th. Bond represented Israel at the 2024 Paris Olympics in team jumping at the Palace of Versailles, and with Team Israel came in 9th.
