Paul Finlay is an Irish Gaelic footballer who plays for Ballybay Pearse Brothers. He played at senior level for the Monaghan county team between 2002 and 2016.
Finlay is the son of former Monaghan footballer Kieran "Jap" Finlay. [1] He won an All-Ireland title with the Monaghan Vocational Schools and played a role in Sligo IT's Sigerson Cup win in 2002. [1] He has also won Minor and Intermediate medals with Ballybay Pearses. [1] Finlay was first selected for the Monaghan senior team in 2003. [1] He was regarded as the team's playmaker [2] and participated in their 2005 National Football League Division Two win, Monaghan's first national title in twenty years. [3] In 2008 Finlay was called up to the Ireland international rules football team as a replacement for Tommy Walsh of Kerry. [4]
The Monaghan County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) or Monaghan GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland, and is responsible for Gaelic games in County Monaghan and the Monaghan county football and hurling teams. Separate county boards are responsible for the promotion & development of handball, camogie and ladies' football within the county, as well as having responsibility for their representative county players/teams. Patrick Bradley is an Irish sportsman who plays Gaelic football for John Mitchel's Glenullin and the Derry county team. With the county he has won two National League titles, and individually an All Stars Award for his performance in the 2007 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship.
Eoin Bradley is a Gaelic footballer and association footballer. He plays the former for the Glenullin club and, previously, for the Derry county team. With Glenullin he won a Derry Senior Football Championship and with Derry he won a National League title. Bradley usually plays corner forward for both club and county – often paired in a two-man inside forward line with brother Patsy, but has also played in the half-forward line. He is known for his pace, point and goal scoring abilities, and runs through opposing teams' defence. His "reckless adventure" and liability to do the unexpected is also part of his effectiveness. Although a great talent, in the past he has been criticised for some of his shot selections from acute angles. However, since 2011 his decision-making in front of goal has improved, which has put down to manager John Brennan.
Seán McCague was an Irish Gaelic games administrator, footballer, referee and manager who served as the 33rd president of the Gaelic Athletic Association (2000–2003). He became the first Monaghan man to hold that office.
Kevin McCloy is a dual player of Gaelic games who plays Gaelic football for the Derry county team, with whom he has won a National League title. He also won an All Star for his performances in the 2007 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship. McCloy plays his club football for Erin's Own's Lavey.

Donncha O'Connor is an Irish Gaelic footballer who played as a full-forward for the Cork senior team. He joined the team during the 2006 championship and immediately became a regular member of the starting fifteen. O'Connor is Cork's all-time top scorer. He has won one All-Ireland winners' medal, four Munster winners' medals and three National League winners' medal. He has ended up as an All-Ireland runner-up on two occasions.
