Pauline Philip

Pauline Mary Philip, DBE, has been the Chief Executive of Luton and Dunstable University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust since 2010. She has previously worked for the World Health Organization. She was made an Honorary Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (DBE) in the 2017 Special Honours. [1]

Philip was appointed the national urgent and emergency care lead by NHS England in 2016. In 2016 the Health Service Journal named her as the fifth most influential Chief Executive in the English National Health Service. [2]

She provides national leadership to ensure the delivery of the urgent and emergency care review and associated elements of the Five Year Forward View. [3]

South East Coast Ambulance Service

The South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SECAmb) is the NHS ambulance services trust for south-eastern England, covering Kent, Surrey, West Sussex and East Sussex. It also covers a part of north-eastern Hampshire around Aldershot, Farnborough, Fleet and Yateley. The service was made an NHS foundation trust on 1 March 2011.

South Western Ambulance Service

The South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) is the organisation responsible for providing ambulance services for the National Health Service (NHS) across South West England. It serves the council areas of Bath and North East Somerset, Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council, Bristol, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, North Somerset, Plymouth, Isles of Scilly, Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Swindon, Torbay and Wiltshire. On 1 March 2011, SWASFT was the first ambulance service in the country to become a NHS foundation trust. On 1 February 2013, neighbouring Great Western Ambulance Service merged with the trust.

Yorkshire Ambulance Service

Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust (YAS) is the NHS ambulance service covering most of Yorkshire in England. It was formed on 1 July 2006 following the mergers of the former West Yorkshire Metropolitan Ambulance Service (WYMAS), South Yorkshire Ambulance Service (SYAS) and Tees, East and North Yorkshire Ambulance Service (TENYAS). It is one of ten NHS Ambulance Trusts providing England with emergency medical services, free at the point of care and as part of the National Health Service it receives direct government funding for its role.

The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) is an NHS trust responsible for providing National Health Service (NHS) ambulance services in the counties of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk, in the East of England region. These consist of approximately 6.2 million people across an area of 7,500 square miles (19,000 km2).

NHS 111 Single non-emergency number for medical advice in the United Kingdom

111 is a free-to-call single non-emergency number medical helpline operating in England, Scotland and parts of Wales. The 111 phone service has replaced the various non-geographic 0845 rate numbers and is part of each country's National Health Service: in England the service is known as NHS 111; in Scotland, NHS 24; and in Wales, either NHS Direct Wales or 111 depending on area.

Isle of Wight NHS Trust

The Isle of Wight NHS Trust is unique in England as it provides physical, mental and ambulance services for the Isle of Wight within the same organisation. It was established on 1 April 2012 following the separation of the provider and commissioner functions within the Isle of Wight Primary Care Trust.

Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust is the main provider of NHS services in Torbay. It runs Torbay Hospital. NHS Improvement Non-departmental health service oversight body in England

NHS Improvement (NHSI) is a non-departmental body in England, responsible for overseeing the National Health Service's foundation trusts and NHS trusts, as well as independent providers that provide NHS-funded care.

Sir Andrew Valentine Morris Hon FRCP is a former British hospital administrator who is currently a non-executive director of NHS Improvement.

Dame Moira Margaret Gibb is a British public servant and former social worker.
