The Paxmal is a peace monument built by Karl Bickel between 1924 and 1949, in Walenstadtberg above Walenstadt, in front of the Churfirsten mountain range in Switzerland. [1]
The left wall depicts the earthly life: a human couple in its existence and development, love and procreation. The right wall is devoted to the spiritual life: the beings who are awakened, struggling, and which keep growing. [2]

St. Paul's Church is a Reformed Church in Basel, Switzerland, part of the Evangelical-Reformed Church of the Canton Basel-Stadt. The church was constructed between May 1898 and November 1901 by Karl Moser (1860–1936) and Robert Curjel, and features a Neo-Romanesque architectural style. The apse is fitted with a stone pulpit that is raised behind a stone communion table. The apse also features a gallery, with a central arch behind the pulpit, in which the organ and choir are placed. It features artwork in Art Nouveau style including relief work on the church exterior above the main entrance by sculptor Carl Burckhardt (1878–1923), mosaics on the inner front wall by Heinrich Altherr (1878–1947) and stained glass windows by Max Laeuger (1864–1952).

The station was closed on 12 December 2021, because of ongoing construction work on the Bommerstein tunnel and low ridership. Buses continue to stop at the station.
Ganymede is the name of a sculpture on the Bürkliterrasse, Zurich's Front Row Seat by the Lake, located on Bürkliplatz, a popular square on Lake Zurich. It is the central eye-catcher of the square, which was completed in 1887, with the Alpine panorama towering on the horizon. The sculpture was designed by the artist Hermann Hubacher as the "Abduction to Olympus", unveiled by the City of Zurich in 1952 and owned by its Art Collection.
Karl Bickel (1886–1982) was a Swiss engraver and graphic designer also known for the construction of the Paxmal memorial above Walenstadt. During his career he designed one hundred Swiss stamps but also others for the countries Luxemburg, Portugal and Liechtenstein.
