Emmanuel K. Bartels known professionally as Pee GH or Pee On Da Beat, is a New Jersey-based Ghanaian record producer. He is best known for producing hit songs such as E.L's "Koko", [1] "Abaa", "Agbo", "Overdose", "Higher"; Shatta Wale - "Am Ok", "Level"; D2 - "Wawane"; [2] Weisa Greid - "One Side", "Ice Cream Man", Samini's "my own (co-produced)" and also for mixing and masterings Sarkodie's "Sub Zero". Early life

Born and raised in Obuasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana, Pee GH decided on his career in music at a young age where he started making beats using buckets and drums [4] and also recording cassette tapes with his little brother at home by recording music of other people while adding his own vocals to it. He graduated from the University of Ghana, Legon

Musical career

Pee GH started making beats and recorded his first song at E.L's studio before moving to New Jersey, USA. PEE GH started to live his dream as a record producer for many star artistes in Ghana and beyond, guided by Grammy mastering engineer, Chris Gehringer.

He has been credited with engineering for BET Award winners Sarkodie and Stonebwoy. [5] In 2016, he won the N.E.G.A Award as Producer Of The Year and was nominated in 2016 as Producer of the Year, at the Ghana Music Awards

John Kwesi Dosunmu-Mensah better known as M.O.G Beatz, is a Ghanaian record producer who specializes in Afro-pop, Hip hop, Afrobeats, R&B, Hiplife, Fuji and Highlife.

Gh hiphop, Gh rap or Ghana hip hop is a hip hop genre, subculture and art movement which developed in Ghana during the late 1990s. The hiphop genre came into existence in Ghana through Reggie Rockstone, who is known as the hiplife father and other notable musicians such as Jayso and Ball J. It first came to Ghana as Hiplife where Reggie Rockstone introduced a fusion of hiphop beats with African sounds to create a whole new genre. Hiplife is different from Western Hiphop because it involves local dialects such as Twi, Ga, Ewe, Hausa and broken-English, popularly known in Ghana as "pidgin". Some hiphop musicians in the early era were Reggie Rockstone, Kae Sun, Sway DeSafo, Samini, Okyeame Kwame, Bradez, Buk Bak, D-Black, Sarkodie, Tic Tac, Obrafour, 4x4, Kwaw Kese, Ayigbe Edem and upcoming artists such as Lil Shaker, Bra Kevin, Asumadu N-Dex,Wanluv, Yaa Pono, Loone, Asem and EL. Eugene Kwame Marfo, who goes by the stage name Kuami Eugene is a Ghanaian High-life and Afrobeat singer-songwriter.
