Synopsis
Mridula is a headstrong, opinionated girl who along with her best friend Swati, go to college together. The two are really close and do everything together. They successfully finish their education, and go on to marry into respective families. Mridula marries Milind D. Khanna, the son of top lawyer Deepak Khanna (Vinod Khanna) and Swati marries Ajay Lal, the son of a high ranked politician.
Many years pass, and Mridula now a lawyer hears from a friend that Swati has committed suicide. Her friend tells her the circumstances surrounding her death and Mridula suspects that Swati's death was far from suicide. Mridula gets hold of Swati's diary in which she chronicled her daily thoughts. After reading the diary, Mridula is convinced that Swati was murdered by her in-laws and husband.
Determined to get justice for her deceased friend, Mridula decides to fight the case against the Lal family. Unfortunately, her father-in-law is fighting the case for the Lal's. Milind tries to convince Mridula to drop the case but she refuses, causing a rift between husband and wife. During the rift she finds support with her mother-in-law, Uttara Khanna (Rati Agnihotri) who urges her to fight for justice.
Mridula is caught between being a dutiful wife and a loyal friend. As she fights the case, her family and more importantly her unborn child are placed in danger by supporters of the Lal family...
The Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor is given by Filmfare as part of its annual Filmfare Awards for Hindi films, to recognise a male actor who has delivered an outstanding performance in a supporting role. Although the awards started in 1954, awards for the best supporting actor category started only the following year 1955. As of 2016, Pran, Amrish Puri, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Anil Kapoor lead the list, with three wins each. Vivek Oberoi currently also holds the record of being the youngest recipient of the award, whereas Rishi Kapoor holds the record for being the eldest, while Abhishek Bachchan holds the record for winning the award thrice consecutively.

Kuch Khatti Kuch Meethi is a 2001 Indian film directed by Rahul Rawail and starring Kajol in a double role as two estranged identical twins. The storyline follows the general theme of its 1961 Hollywood counterpart The Parent Trap, which is based on the 1949 novel Lottie and Lisa, but with the added melodrama and slight-changed storyline of a Bollywood movie. The film also stars Sunil Shetty, Rishi Kapoor, Rati Agnihotri and Pooja Batra. This is the second time that Kajol played a dual role after Dushman. The rights to this film are owned by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment.

Mere Jeevan Saathi is a 1972 Indian film produced by Harish and Vinod Shah. It is directed by Ravikant Nagaich, and it stars Rajesh Khanna, Tanuja, Sujit Kumar, Bindu, Helen, Utpal Dutt, Nazir Hussain and Rajindranath. The movie was made at the height of Rajesh Khanna's popularity and craze. It was the second movie of Rajesh Khanna with Tanuja after the blockbuster Haathi Mere Saathi (1971). Although the movie was an average grosser upon its release and received ambivalent reviews from viewers and critics but the soundtrack and songs became very popular and are evergreen. "O Mere Dil Ke Chain" and "Chala Jata Hoon" are still very famous Kishore Kumar melodies from this film.

Keemat – They Are Back is a 1998 Indian Hindi-language action film directed by Sameer Malkan and produced by brothers Ganesh Jain and Ramesh Jain. It stars Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan, Raveena Tandon and Sonali Bendre. Anupam Kher and Ravi Kishen have supporting roles. This was the fourth collaboration between Kumar and Khan after hits like Main Khiladi Tu Anari, Yeh Dillagi and Tu Chor Main Sipahi.This film was delayed for 2 years.Manisha Koirala was offered but later Sonali Bendre was replaced.Saif Ali Khan's role was offered before to Ajay Devgan.It was last film of Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon before their breakup.Armaan Kohli was approached but he was busy in Qahar.
Mohammed Aziz, also known as Munna, was a famous Indian multilingual playback singer who primarily sang for the Bollywood, Bengali and Odia films. He sang about twenty thousand songs, including Sufi devotional songs and other genres in more than ten different Indian languages. He made his first appearance in films with a Hindi film titled Ambar (1984) and later he appeared in his first Bengali film titled Bouma (1986). His two prominent songs, including "Mard Tangewala" composed by Anu Malik were introduced in Mard.
Sandwich : Double Trouble is a 2006 Indian Hindi comedy film starring Raveena Tandon and Mahima Chaudhry and Govinda plays dual role in both opposite characters. The film is directed by Anees Bazmee who is famously known for directing blockbuster comedy films like No Entry (2005), Welcome (2007), Singh Is Kinng (2008), Ready (2011), Mubarakan (2017) and Pagalpanti (2019). This film was completed in 2003 but was delayed for three years and finally released in 2006. The movie was remade in Kannada as Double Decker in 2011 starring Jaggesh. Earlier the title of movie was "Hum Do Hamara Ek". Due to delay in releasing the movie title was changed to "Sandwich", it received mixed reviews, who appreciated performance of Govinda, But criticised for writing, screenplay, cliches, and VFX, But this film was a box office failure. It marked the last film of Shammi Kapoor before his death on 14 August 2011.
Babu is a 1985 film starring Rajesh Khanna in the lead role, supported by Hema Malini, Mala Sinha, Rati Agnihotri and Deepak Parashar. Music is by Rajesh Roshan. It is a remake of a Tamil film of the same name from 1971 directed by A. C. Tirulokchandar and starring Sivaji Ganesan, which itself was a remake of the 1965 Malayalam film, Odayil Ninnu, a film adaptation of Malayalam writer P. Kesavadev's acclaimed novel of the same title. The movie was a silver jubilee on its release.
Asha Jyoti is a 1984 Hindi film starring Rajesh Khanna, Rekha, Reena Roy in lead roles. The film was directed by Dasari Narayana Rao, who had also directed Aaj Ka M.L.A. Ram Avtar with Khanna in the lead role and music was given by Laxmikant-Pyarelal. The film is remake of Telugu Movie Srivari Muchatlu (1981). The film grossed 5.75 crores at the box office in 1984 and was a commercial success. It received three stars in the Bollywood guide Collections.
