Pekkle (Ahiru no Pekkle) is a fictional character created by Sanrio in 1990. [1] The character is a small white duck who typically wears a blue T-shirt that has the letter P on it. Pekkle is characterized as "good-natured" and "kind," as well as being a singer and dancer. [2] For example, the character takes tap-dancing lessons. Pekkle's birthday is on July 27.

Pekkle appeared in four OVAs in the early 1990s. [1]

It is a 3-D motion simulator featuring specially filmed sequences of Godzilla battling the monsters Mothra and Rodan. All the monsters were portrayed using the costumes and props from the early 1990s Godzilla films. In addition, a new super-plane named Earth is introduced to thwart the monsters' destructive rampage.

Beatcats are a Japanese character franchise created as a joint venture between Sanrio and Sega Toys. Currently the third collaborative effort after Jewelpet and Rilu Rilu Fairilu, it is the first Sanrio franchise released as a musical group. The characters in Beatcats consist of Mia, Chelsea, Rico, Layla, and Emma. As a musical group, Beatcats are signed under the Japanese recording label Pony Canyon and marketed as a virtual band.
