Cooper City is a city in Broward County, Florida, United States. The city is named for Morris Cooper, who founded the community in 1959. It's part of South Florida's Miami metropolitan area. The city's population was 34,401 at the 2020 census.

Paladin Academy was an elementary, middle and high school located in Pembroke Pines, Florida. The program catered to students who required smaller class sizes, a more structured environment and if needed, a slower academic pace. This included individuals diagnosed with attention deficits, dyslexia or other undiagnosed challenges. Accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, the program was a participant in the State of Florida McKay Scholarship program for students with learning challenges. After over forty years of existence, the school ceased operations in June 2021.
The College Academy @ BC Central is a joint venture between The School Board of Broward County and Broward College. The College Academy @ BC Central Campus offers high school juniors and seniors enrolled as full-time students in the program the opportunity to receive a high school diploma from The School Board of Broward County, Florida and an Associate of Arts (AA) degree from Broward College. The rigorous nature of the program helps students qualify for the State of Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program. The College Academy is designed for students who have the maturity required for college campus life and the academic ability to handle the rigor of college work. Both high school and dual enrollment courses are taught on the BC Central campus. An extension to North Campus has been opened in the fall of 2015. Students take between 12 and 18 college credits Fall and Winter Terms and approximately 6 college credits Session I of the Summer Term. Students must maintain a 2.5 unweighted grade point average in order to remain at The College Academy.
The Ben Gamla Charter School is an English-Hebrew charter school, the first of its kind in the U.S., located in Hollywood, Florida. It opened August 20, 2007, with approximately 400 enrolled students from kindergarten through eighth grade, though the Ben Gamla system has expanded to 5 campuses in South Florida in both the Ben Gamla Charter Schools, as well as the Ben Gamla Preparatory Academy. The entire Ben Gamla system currently enrolls students from grades K-12 across all 5 campuses, with a total enrollment of about 2,000 students. Of the five total schools in the Ben Gamla system, three schools are in Broward County, one is in Miami-Dade County and one is in Palm Beach County. The school's director is an Orthodox rabbi and at least 50% of the students accepted to the school are Jewish. The name of the school is taken from an Israelite high priest, known in the Talmud for his campaign to establish yeshivas throughout Judaea.
