My Own Prison is the debut studio album by American rock band Creed, released in 1997. It has been certified six times platinum in the United States alone. The man kneeling on the album's cover is Justin Brown, a friend of the band. The picture was taken by guitarist Mark Tremonti's brother, Daniel, for a photography class. It has spent over 150 weeks on the catalog albums chart and over 110 weeks on the Billboard 200. The album received generally positive reviews from critics. The album generated five music videos: "My Own Prison" in 1997, followed by "Torn" and "What's This Life For" in 1998.
"Gone" is a song by American recording artist Kelly Clarkson, from her second studio album, Breakaway (2004). Written by Kara DioGuardi and co-written and produced by John Shanks, "Gone" is a pop song about a woman leaving her lover in search for a better relationship. "Gone" was well received my music critics, though it garnered comparisons with similarly-titled "Since U Been Gone". Two years after Breakaway's release, "Gone" charted in the Billboard Pop 100 chart at number 77. Clarkson has also performed the song in concert tours, primarily during the Breakaway World Tour from 2005–06 and the Stronger Tour in 2012.

Foy Vance is an Irish musician and singer-songwriter signed to Gingerbread Man Records. Vance has toured as a support act to British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran and his music has been featured on numerous TV shows. In August 2013 he released his second full-length album, Joy of Nothing, which was produced by Irish producer and arranger Michael Keeney and was met with critical praise, being called "a gorgeous collection of open, uplifting songs, which showcase [Vance's] magnificent songwriting skills." In May 2016, his third studio album The Wild Swan, produced and mixed by Jacquire King, was released and it was announced that Vance would support Elton John on selected tour dates in June and Josh Groban in July and August.
Brave is the sixth studio album by American singer and actress Jennifer Lopez. It was released on October 4, 2007, by Epic Records. Inspired by her marriage with Marc Anthony and taking influences by Jamiroquai and Sade, Brave features prominently samples from 1970s songs, and incorporates funk and R&B music. Brave sees Lopez working with new collaborators, such as Ryan Tedder, Midi Mafia, J.R. Rotem, Bloodshy, Lynn & Wade LLP, The Clutch and others, while also working with long-time collaborator Cory Rooney throughout the album.
No Age is an American noise rock duo consisting of guitarist Randy Randall and drummer/vocalist Dean Allen Spunt. The band is based in Los Angeles, California, and was signed to Sub Pop records from 2008 to 2013. No Age's fourth studio album, Snares Like a Haircut, was released by Drag City on January 26, 2018. Drag City also released Goons Be Gone their fifth studio album on June 5, 2020.
Decade in the Sun: Best of Stereophonics is a compilation album of greatest hits by Stereophonics. It features tracks from all six of the band's previous albums, beginning from the 1997 debut release, Word Gets Around, all the way through to 2007's Pull the Pin, plus two brand new songs, "You're My Star" and "My Own Worst Enemy". "You're My Star" was also released as a single.
"Daddy" is a song recorded by American singer Beyoncé for her debut studio album, Dangerously in Love (2003). It was composed by Beyoncé and Mark Batson. The song was not originally intended to be featured on the final track listing of the album. Beyoncé was able to record the song as the release date of her debut album had been postponed. "Daddy" was released to US iTunes Store as a digital single on June 3, 2003, through Columbia Records.
"The Planets Bend Between Us" is a song from alternative rock band Snow Patrol's fifth album A Hundred Million Suns. It was released as the follow-up single to "If There's a Rocket Tie Me to It" on 24 May 2009. It was the fourth single taken from the album. The lyrics were written by Gary Lightbody and the music was composed by Snow Patrol. The song is about Lightbody's beach house in Belfast. The single featured a re-working of the album version and was released as a digital download only. It was later included on the band's 2009 compilation album Up to Now.

"Animal" is a song performed by Swedish indie pop band Miike Snow. It was released as the first single from the band's 2009 self-titled debut album on 17 February 2009 through Columbia and Downtown Records. Written by the band alongside Henrik Jonback, "Animal" is a pop song with instrumentation provided by horns and staccato synthesizers. Lead singer Andrew Wyatt has explained that it has an ambiguous meaning; its lyrics can be interpreted as dealing with matters such as addiction, basic instincts or dissatisfaction when one's needs are not met by society.
Gold Cobra is the fifth and most recent studio album by American rap rock band Limp Bizkit. Released in 2011 by Flip and Interscope Records, it is the band's first studio album since 2003's Results May Vary and its first with the full original lineup since 2000's Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water, as well as their first since their 2009 reunion. Gold Cobra features an eclectic and diverse sound, but is also similar in style to the band's earlier albums. The album, which featured the single "Shotgun" and received mixed reviews, sold 27,000 copies during its first week in the United States and peaked at No. 16 on the Billboard 200.
"Get Outta My Way" is a song recorded by Australian recording artist Kylie Minogue for her eleventh studio album Aphrodite (2010). "Get Outta My Way" was written and produced by Mich Hansen, Lucas Secon, Damon Sharpe, Peter Wallevik, Daniel Davidsen alongside Stuart Price, who served as an additional producer. Due to popularity, the song was released as the second official single worldwide on 27 September 2010 by Parlophone. "Get Outta My Way" is a midtempo dance-pop song with disco and electropop influences. The lyrics of the song discusses Minogue's decision in moving on from a relationship and beginning a new one immediately.
Tha Funk Capital of the World is the thirteenth studio album by American funk musician Bootsy Collins, released on April 26, 2011, by Mascot Records. It features an array of Bootsy's friends and colleagues including Chuck D, Snoop Dogg and Bootsy's one time Parliament and P-Funk bandmates, George Clinton and Bernie Worrell. The album has one single: "Don't Take My Funk", featuring Catfish Collins and Bobby Womack.
Strangeland is the fourth studio album by English alternative rock band Keane, released on 4 May 2012 through Island Records. It is their first full-length album since Perfect Symmetry (2008), as well as the first to feature bassist Jesse Quin as an official member.
Magic Hour is the fourth studio album by the American group Scissor Sisters, released on May 25, 2012 by Polydor Records. The first single from the album was initially "Shady Love" but was later replaced by "Only the Horses", co-produced by recording artist and DJ Calvin Harris, which entered and peaked at number twelve on the UK Singles Chart.
¡Tré! is the eleventh studio album by American rock band Green Day. It is the third and final installment in the ¡Uno!¡Dos!¡Tré! trilogy, a series of studio albums that were released from September to December 2012. Green Day started recording material for the album on February 14, 2012, and finished on June 26, 2012. ¡Tré! follows the power pop style of ¡Uno!, and the garage rock feel of ¡Dos! The album's title is a nod to the band's drummer Tré Cool, who turned 40 years old two days after the release of the album. Cool is also featured on the album's cover. It is the band's last album as a quartet, as Jason White reverted to being a touring member in 2016 and is also their last album to be produced by their long-time producer Rob Cavallo, whose relationship with the band began with their 1994 album Dookie.
Jake Bugg is an English musician, singer, and songwriter. His self-titled debut album, Jake Bugg, some of which was co-written with songwriter Iain Archer, was released in October 2012 and reached number one on the UK Albums Chart. His second album, Shangri La, was released in November 2013 and his third, largely self-produced album On My One, in June 2016. His fourth album Hearts That Strain, a largely acoustic effort, produced by Dan Auerbach, was released in September 2017.
Music to Make Boys Cry is the second studio album by English singer and songwriter Diana Vickers, released on 13 September 2013 by So Recordings. The album's lead single, "Cinderella", was released to digital retailers on 21 July 2013. The album features production from the likes of David Gamson, Simen Eriksrud and Ant Whiting, and as well as "Cinderella", includes two tracks previously premiered online - the title track itself and "Boy in Paris". On 24 July 2013, Vickers unveiled the album's artwork and track listing via Amazon.
Penguin Prison is an electropop project composed solely of New York City singer, musician, producer and remixer Chris Glover. Penguin Prison's self-titled debut album was released on 18 October 2011 through Downtown Records to positive reviews.
