Peoples Democratic Front was a mass front of Communist Party of India in the Hyderabad State.

Of total 25 MP seats from Hyderabad, PDF won 7 MP seats during the first Lok Sabha term. Among these seven MPs there were famous personalities who played a crucial role in Telangana Rebellion movement.

He was well known trade unionist and President of All India Toddy Tappers and workers Federation.Government of India honoured him by awarding with Thamra patra. His brother Venkataiah is also a freedom fighter.

K. Chandrashekar Rao Chief Minister of Telangana

Kalvakuntla Chandrashekhar Rao, often referred to by his initials KCR, is an Indian politician serving as the first and current Chief Minister of Telangana since 2014. He is the leader and founder of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi, a regional party in Telangana, India. He is known for leading the Telangana movement to achieve statehood for Telangana. Previously, he served as the Union Minister of Labour and Employment from 2004 to 2006. He represents Gajwel constituency in the Legislative Assembly of Telangana. Rao took oath as the first Chief Minister of Telangana in 2014 and was re-elected for the second term in 2018.
